The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

"blockchain driver" Please update the driver. It is that simple.

update:  did try the standalone zip version , it running well on a rig
another rig trying update to new driver now

update2 :

update driver to newest amd driver / ggs suggested driver / github recommended 1.8.11 all not working

running stand alone version work

update 3:

from older version , simply upgrade by execute the new version .msi it will do the trick and replace the older version
at the 1.3.4 , the msi installed and the older 1.3.2 will still remain , conflict may happen ( actually i saw them two exist at the same time)

removed both of them and install 1.3.4 again , the magic happen

damn , i am just so lazy and problem happen =[

update 4: others rig fixed and working , remove all version ggs and install 1.3.4 , driver revert to blockchain
still got one not working under all combination , still try to figure out what happen +__+

update 5 : finally get the last rig working
i download the .msi again to prevent corruption
after installation , i open the binary folder and delete them , restart the 1.3.4 , it work now

Has anyone tried x16r/s on an AMD RX580? I am currently away from home and my pc has restarted, so I lost my teamviewer connection and cannot login to test it out, but still I am dying out of curiosity.  Grin

It was because of binary kernels from previous version...

I think there was a problem with the installer and old files weren't deleted.
Sorry about that...

High CPU usage with enabled OC fixed. Thanks!
Min fan 20% to 0% not fixed.
Name of memory type still not have right alignment.
GGS very long loads! About 30-40 sec.
Absent of cryptonight binaries make starting of mining take much time.

I am actually thinking about a rewrite of GGS now.
At the very least, I should switch from WinForms to WPF, but I have other pretty wild ideas.
We will see..

0) it work now, no more restart Smiley. Thank you
1)Gfx804(lexa rx 550),Baffin(rx550) Ellesmere(rx 570) all on the same 8 rig, are a little resource hungry, sometimes the last card doesn't start..
2)X16R is good but not as fast as I hoped and the algos parameter to play with are "obscure"
I mean for sgminer I know that -g2 -thread concurrency 1792 is the best/maximum for RX 580 8gb and I calculate it from a 6 year old readme...
3) x17....

UI Modification:

my coffee point of view, as my dev fee bring just a coffee/day  to you:

GGS is a good tool now for optimizating card. Optimization need improvment ? you know better than me.
It  need a readme how to do it ? absolutely.
I know for sure that CN algo with modded timing deliver a 10 % increase in speed compared to ETH modded board. I was hoping to find the time to optimize  the memory strap with GGS but there is no guide or probably I am just not good enough to do it properly but I will keep trying.
Also
LOL, please input directly your devfee addresses in the default pools as an example so the people that would like to benchmark those are a click away of doing it. If they wish, they will change addresses later

in the dashboard, custom pool doesn't need to be in the menu with algos, its not an algo!
Make a "thick" box outside the ALgos menu to select it

Now that GGS is a good tool for optimizing, I don't need it!
Or better , I don't need it in the same UI as the miner!
Please make a ZEN version. Once the setup/optimization/benchmarking is done (good only for GGS! for the sake of your wallet!), algo pool password are choosen it will just run with limited resources because this is what mining is supposed to be: an optimized PC that run an algo and then you forgot about it and you just monitor.

I know, I know... The miner definitely needs to be better documented and less resource-intensive.
We will see what I can do. I am running pretty aggressive optimizations now. Once I am done, I will write up step-by-step instructions.

It is so ironic that we are still constrained by the size of the VGA screen in the 21st century, but this ain't so bad...

Zawawa, yesterday I tried to install the newest version of the miner, but it hangs during the installation and the whole rig freezes! Now I cannot find it in the control panel, neither can I uninstall it from the folder.
How should I proceed?

Were you using the installer? What happens when you try to "uninstall it from the folder?"
My guess is a wrong driver, but I might be mistaken.

Last version is very stable and fast with my rx580 modded.
I use Cryptonight pow7 and I have 800H/s.

Thank you for this awesome work.

I think is interesting for all, can you add GroestlCoin? GRS is a good coin to mining.

Groestl is already part of the X16R kernels, so it shouldn't be hard to make GGS compatible with GroestlCoin.
Let me finish the rewrite of the user interface first, and I will take a close look at it.
