Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

So depending on what happens with this auction there should be at least one coin available if one of the previous bidders wins it. If it's someone outside the previous winners then not.

And coins shouldn't ship until this one is over otherwise receivers would have already got one coin. I guess the one coin per person rule still applies.

Yes, in that case the remaining coin will be auctioned too.

Have any of the winners received their coin (especially if they are based in EU, since CI is in Spain) or received some tracking number?  I havent heard from CI in a while.

I've asked CI about it a few days ago, and he told me the coins will be sent after new year's day. Postal service recommended him to do so.

Thanks.  I'm curious if it's due to being a less busy time for the postal service.

Anyone want to buy my reservation for the #5 coin to have CI ship the coin to them instead?  I paid in full to CI $1050 + $45 shipping + 1 BTC.  I would accept the same amount.  Anyone interested can send me a PM.

I was contacted by CanaryInTheMine whom I thank very much for the offer.
Just too much BTC for one coin for me right now, unfortunately.
