I have a list of a few, along with an offers website that is now offering Litecoin as a reward, in addition to Bitcoin. I will post the list later this morning after I get home from work.

Ok, here is the list that I have....

- http://litecoiner.net - minimum 0.01 payout

- http://dailylitecoin.com - works as more of a lottery. A winner is picked randomly from each day's entries.

- http://coinofmidas.com/litecoin/index.php - dry faucet

- http://myedaccount.co/ - dry? A pic of a sad-looking puppy pops up with the message "Sorry! Try again in 2 hours"

Also, the rewards website ABitBack.com has included Litecoin (along with Bitcoin) in their rewards payouts.

Yeah, they had a notice for a couple weeks that their payouts were going to be 3 to 5 days behind. I don't believe I ever received any either. *shrug*

Well, this is pretty sad.... so Litecoiner, ABitBack and MyEdAccount (and I'm not that certain even about that last one) are the ONLY places to get Litecoins other than mining them or buying them on the exchanges? C'mon.... there has to be SOME other places out there.

True enough, but by definition they would constitute a large part of the Litecoin infrastructure and economy. Where are the BitInstant-type services for Litecoin? Where are the "work for Litecoin" kind of setups, like Coinworker for Bitcoin. These things may cost money, but presumably they make money as well.

"Where are they?" is the question at hand here.

Here's a new one (to me, at least) to add to the list... supposedly dispensing .01 LTC.

A gambling site.... not exactly a "faucet", but it still fits in with the whole "Litecoin infrastructure" idea. Along those lines, Peerbet now has gambling with Litecoins (along with Peercoins, Namecoins, Primecoins, Feathercoins and Anoncoins), in addition to Bitcoin.

Has anyone here actually earned from faucets? Have you guys thought if it would be more profitable to spend your time doing something else? No intention to be mean, just curious.

Well, to give you an anecdotal story, here is mine.....

When Bitcoin first popped up on my radar, there were only 2 faucets in existence. Both of these, at the time, dispensed 0.02 Bitcoin. This was in June or July of 2001. Being new to Bitcoin, I hit both of them up.

(EDIT: June or July of 2011, rather..... hahahaha! Oh well....)

So, even at today's low price for Bitcoin, those 2 transactions are worth $13.22

$13.22 for 15 seconds of my time.

Yeah, I think profited from that.

The real question is, do you think cryptocurrency prices will go up enough in the future that dealing with faucets now will pay out in the long run? I still think the answer to that is "yes", depending on the cryptocurrency in question, of course... for most cryptos, it's speculation. But really.... is that 10 or 15 seconds of your time going to "pay out" doing something else? Maybe, maybe not. Depends on what else you are doing... perusing Facebook? Playing World of Warcraft? Watching YouTube videos? There's lots of "time-wasting" things everyone takes part in online. Why not a cryptocoin faucet?

That said, here is a Litecoin faucet that no one has listed in this thread yet....

Rena Litecoin Faucet pays out between 0.035 mLTC and 70 mLTC per dispense, with a cashout amount of 5 mLTC.

These "Rena Faucet" people also have faucets for Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Darkcoin and Mooncoin....

Rena Bitcoin Faucet
Rena Dogecoin Faucet
Rena Darkcoin Faucet
Rena Mooncoin Faucet

Again, are these and other faucets worth the time? Meh.... maybe, maybe not. Time will tell, I guess. *shrug*
