Say my electricity cost is $0.15136/kwh and I have a 700 w power unit.

One month is 700W * (60 x 60 x 24 x 31) = 1874880000 Joule
$0.15136/kwh = $0.15136/3.6x10^6 Joule

1874880000 / 3.6 * 10^6 * 0.15136 = 78.828288

My monthly cost is $78. Am I right?

Assuming it's using the entire power all the time - yes.

700w = 0.7 kWh

0.7 * 24 hours * 30 days = 504kWh

$0.15136 * 504kWh = $76.29

why are you converting kw into joules then converting back? you pay by kilowatt/hr, right?

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
