I'm mining Bitcoin, and my Son is mining Litecoin.

Where are people selling their Litecoins to dollars or Bitcoins?  Btc-e?

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

For LTC to BTC, btc-e worked for me. vircurex.com is also an option.

make sure when you set up your account at BTC-e that you click on email withdrawal confirmation. There are a few complaints of funds being stolen. I use virurex too when PPC was available there and at another spot. BTC-e trades PPC and TRC now.

good luck

BTC-E is the one I've used since I switched to LTC mining.  They've had some problems in recent days with logging in, but their staff resolved my issue quickly.

I just saw some bad sounding posts of someone losing their LTC/BTC at btc-e, so I am weary.  I have been using bitfloor for BTC.  I would like to exchange my small amounts of NMC to BTC or LTC and was looking at btc-e, but it does not look trustworthy. =/
