This is actually the least of their problems...
If you read the FunFair analysis of Ethroll, vDice, EDG...
Their games are slow and klunky and expensive (gas) and zero threat to online casinos...
You have to implement some form of state channels like FUN to make casino games playable.

The fact the EDG is still at 5x ICO is amazing.

Edgeless already withdrew total of $3,536,946 before the hack.

Hacker withdrew 26,793 eth worth $5,197,842 today's prices.

I assume the minimum funding goal of Edgeless back in February was 50,000 ETH or $550,000 ($11/ETH Feb prices) or $1,100,000 ($22/ETH March prices).
