Reads to me like Steven Dai was going by Patrick in March 2015. What does it read like to you? I know how it reads to the members of the Qtum Foundation -> "Yes, in some parts of China it's more acceptable to be named Steven, while in other parts, Patrick comes across as more professional. You're point is?"

https://www.linkedin.com/in/shuai-chu-39278a108/

https://qtum.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Qtum_blockchain_economy_whitepaper_20170209_EN.pdf

Odo Qtum Foundation Members: Rules of Acquisition #BR549 states that when presenting the Chairman in an official white paper, reverse the order of the assumed real name, mentioning it ONLY once so not to confuse it with its nym, the name of The Founder [of the Foundation].

when polo?

You should ask when ICO instead, the ICO has not started yet, and nobody knows when on poloniex. I even doubt there will be more dramas during ICO, maybe angel investors will stop the ICO of this project because Patrick Dai's scandal?

this is just fudder attack or scam detected?

To be fair, folks are just getting at the truth. Personally, I'm being kind, else Full Gleb would be in play. Can't speak for others posting about Mr. Dai et al. I didn't like posting about RV's involvement, even requested some other via PM to post, but during the interim the time came for me to act.

Hope that helps in your assessment, bud.

Oh, and Team Qtum has been cool about not deleting posts in this self-moderated thread (as far as I know).

you have a nice point.

this is more like a personal attack.

seems bitbay team want to pump their price. i will buy some bitbay incase they pump it.

Lol it seems you are on QTUM payroll's too. After all the proof
- David's explanation:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1720632.msg17973456#msg17973456
- Elmer's explanation:
https://soundcloud.com/physibles/interview-with-elmerlin-about-patrickdai-aka-stephendai-from-qtumofficial-qtum-bitbayofficial

And him admitting he in fact is/was Steven Dai...
How sad are you.. All they want to do is to prevent other investors/people to become a victim of this man Dai. Who has become a serial scammer now.

BTW your boss, this Dai person, is reading this too, so you may want to do a better job, else he will scam you too.

I only wonder if the rest of team was aware of that fact, that he`s a sammer?

The problem with all these articles is that no one stopped to ask: who is Patrick Dai? Why does Googling his name reveal so few results? And most important: What did he actually do before Qtum?

Is the author of the article asking me since it was my research that provided the fodder for the article?

If anybody understands Chinese, how does Mr. Dai introduce him in this video? http://www.wanbizu.com/xinbi/Qtum/201701048625.html

http://www.8btc.com/roger-ver-qtum

Quote
In the past, the establishment of the European Pacific Square Conference, qtum quantum chain founder Shuai early announced a good news, "Bit coin Jesus" Roger Ver is also a quantum chain of concern and investors. When talking about quantum chains, Roger commented: "Qtum is definitely one of the projects everyone should be keeping their eye on." (Qtum quantum chain worth everyone's attention.)

Did Roger Ver know that Shuai early is Patrick Dai?

I'm a researcher at Smith + Crown. I speak Chinese.

In this video, Mr. Dai introduces himself as Shaui Chu. Shuai Chu is his professional name in the Chinese tech community. I've been following the Chinese language coverage of the Qtum project for the last few weeks. He is consistently refereed to as Shuai Chu in Chinese media, on his LinkedIn (as you pointed out earlier) and on the Chinese language version of the Qtum website.

https://qtum.org/zh/team-zh/

A link to a Chinese dictionary for comparison.

https://www.mdbg.net/chindict/chindict.php?page=worddict&wdrst=0&wdqb=%E5%B8%85%E5%88%9D

It's fairly common in China for people to use professional pseudonyms. It seems unlikely that anyone on the team was unaware that Patrick Dai and Shuai Chu were the same person.

The full physical address for this website is Sichou Road, Nanchong City, Sichuan province, China. I looked it up on Baidu maps and an confirm that this is a real road in a real city.
So yes. There is a road in China literally named "silk road". Also, that happens to be a title of a book. Go figure.

First off, thank you kindly for relaying what was requested, bud.

Re "It seems unlikely that anyone on the team was unaware that Patrick Dai and Shuai Chu were the same person.": Are you telling me that 4/5 direct brainiac partners and close associates of Mr. Whatever-His-Name-Is-Today didn't independently or in concert with others do any due diligence as to exactly who is the leader of Qtum, including its co-founder, Neil Mahi? If that ain't a crazy enough question to ponder, consider asking the same one regarding all them investors who collectively contributed over a million dollars into the project so to ... wait for it ...

http://www.coindesk.com/blockchain-angels-invest-1-million-bitcoin-ethereum-hybrid-qtum/

Quote
Dai told CoinDesk:

"We raised the money to prove that our approach is right. We used the money to do the minimum viable product. The testnet is live now, but it is private, it is already working."

Dai said that the Qtum Foundation could seek to raise up to $10m in the token offering. In Q3 of 2016, nearly $200m was raised in ICOs, according to CoinDesk Research data.

Qtum also claims to be partnering with PwC Asia, which both its team members and investors said will be providing accounting services for the project.

AND, if that's not enough, does PricewaterhouseCoopers [in Asia] know exactly who they're dealing with regarding Qtum or do they just accept any name one gives them as acting auditors on their entity's behalf, stamping any papers with their approval depicting figures given to them by some nym? Think about it! Think about real hard.

This is what I think:

The advent of Bitcoin -> everybody excited, then it waned.
Then along came Ethereum -> cycle repeated.
Enter Qtum -> if you liked Bitcoin and Ethereum, you'll love the marriage of them two; please send us $10M dollars.

"Adebiyi, explain please again why we still do royal prince scam when bigger money can be got in crypto deals? You know how do white paper?"

I have delisted this from http://icocountdown.com

https://medium.com/@icocountdown/due-diligence-pack-for-qtum-7369ef48917b#.bs9mvh95n

Here is the reasons and rationale. I have been monitoring this for a number of days and it isn't looking good at all.

Hopefully the developers can do an interview soon with me and I hope I am proved wrong.

Shoutout to everyone that is conducting due diligence especially Gleb.
