The following is humor relief at Roger Ver's expense:

I'm Roger Ver, long time Bitcoin advocate and investor.
Today I'm at the Qtum world headquarters somewhere in China.
I had a nice chat with Patrick Dai, or whatever his name is, about their current situation.
He showed me multiple stuff.
I'm sure that the current situation at Qtum is being caused by something.
The people at Qtum are hard at work establishing themselves.
For now,  I hope that everyone will continue working on Bitcoin projects that will help make the world a better place.

Bob starts a "Zimbeck is a scammer" thread to divert attention. No actual accusation was made by the way, its just a dump of chat logs proving i knew him. Guilty by association. And to be honest gets me upset that Bitcointalk mods did nothing about it. Mprep seemed to be partial to Bob in private convos which makes me lose a lot of respect for this forum. Theymos never even responded to a single message despite me trying at his emails, reddit and BCT. Because of the chat log spam it ranked high on Google. Bitcointalk lets anyone post an accusation and these propagandists counted on it.

David. You/we/us, dont stand a chance half the time, as far as attitude and integrity of BCT management is concerned. This place just aint safe, when members of the BCT payroll have conversations with Bobsurplus and openly profess.... "You have my support"
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1169439.msg12326805#msg12326805

Oh wait, did i say 'members of the BCT payroll'? What i meant was, members who were on the payroll, but recently taken off the payroll.....because of extortion/mob-rule/blackmail.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1761133.msg17598651#msg17598651

As far as money related things go, on this forum, the above hopefully highlights what a massive disadvantage our risk/reward profiles have, when the likes of Bobsurplus and staff here, get on so fabulously. Sometimes i wonder if the kids running this place, actually get off, on the dramas their naive attitude/stance/ethos creates.  Cry

BTW, David. Dont take it too personally that Theymos doesnt reply to you. Apparently, some of the staff here are getting pissed off with Theymos for not replying to their enquiries/questions, and just generally going MIA for extended periods of time.

I'm of the opinion that Bitcointalk is "controlled opposition" by a government agency. I'm not alone on that opinion. I think they try to destroy devs, altcoins, and position their own projects at the top.

https://theintercept.com/2014/02/24/jtrig-manipulation/

You might want to read up on groups like this ^ leaked by Snowden

People can try to discredit me for saying this... but there is a lot of anecdotal evidence. Theymos knew I messaged him, mprep bragged about it so they clearly spoke about it. He said none of the mods/staff liked BitHalo. Its the only software in the world that does smart contracts in Bitcoin and they don't like it?? I wonder why... because it removes middle men perhaps?! It obviates courts, makes unbreakable contracts and stops theft by using double deposit escrow. 2 party escrow 4 years and still going. Not vaporware. Unlike most projects.... :|

Speaking of Theymos...
He works for a senate office. Small world. His dox was removed... he loves banning people who dox him but won't ban people who dox others.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1068341.0

He will not stop for a second to violate your privacy too by the way. You can look at the time he supplied courts with PMs.

This forum is like 4chan. Thats why I only post in BitBays or Blackcoin thread most of the time. Realize everyone I may stop responding to comments here. So if you have a direct question for me please PM. I'm really busy working on an updated build. I don't want to waste a single second more of my life on guys like Dai.

I can't cure the evil in the hearts of men only purify my own heart. Take out of that what you will.

Quote
The BFL Foundation

To whom it may concern,

Lately, some concerns have been brought to our attention in respect to former business activities of one of BFL's executives, Sonny Vleisides. We regard it of utmost importance to emphasize that ... blah, blah, blah.

After studying the subjects, Laissez Faire City, the ~$50M lotto scheme ripping off mostly the elderly, and stealing millions via his online gambling concerns, we see no fault in Mr. Vleisides' past activities and regards the accusations as groundless. Mr. Vleisides pled guilty to the false charges receiving time served, a $100 fine, and an easily breakable 3-year probation, to ONLY put the issue not based on facts behind him.

Blah, blah, blah.

Besides, if he did anything wrong in his past, Sonny's on a good track now.

Thank you again for your alert involvement, and miners should be shipped out in two weeks according to queue as promised.

The BFL Foundation

Sincerely,

Josh Zerlan

Jeff Ownby

Jody Drake

Nasser Ghoseiri

John Mutrux

Bruce Bourne

Dave McClain

Bruce Peterson

Marc Goodpasture

Zach Weaver

In case you missed it, the BFL Foundation is made up of its employees just like the Qtum Foundation. Ironic, eh?

Unless I'm mistaken, Qtum received over a million dollars in VC funding and supposedly has deep-pocket folks involved in their endeavor (over and beyond VC et al.), yet are seeking ICO funding. Same was true with BFL, albeit in hindsight thanks to my investigation, they were still selling pre-orders under the auspices that they needed the money so to build the damn in-two-weeks miners, all the while sitting on millions of dollars worth of bitcoins proven by the blockchain. Prior to shit hitting the fan, Sonny was liquidating millions through BitPay acting as an exchange, of which they are not - just a third-party payment provided. Again, all verified via the blockchain. No apologies for the digression in driving the point home.

Personally, I kept my nose outta Qtum's affairs here, in fact seeing no nefarious activities, even giving my blessing to those who privately sought my advice. Now, it's I that seems to have egg on my face for vouching for them. To them, I humbling apologize (5 or 6 folks, in case anybody's wondering).

Thank you again for your alert attention.

I can't cure the evil in the hearts of men only purify my own heart. Take out of that what you will.

The following post was gleaned from the second link you provided above (last post which I'm quoting):

Here is PM theymos once send me:

Hello. I'm writing to let you know that due to a subpoena that I received related to a case against BFL, I was forced to release some of your PMs.

In particular, I released all PMs that you sent to or received from the following people, possibly even if you deleted the PM:

Inaba
BFL-Engineer
BFL_Josh
SLok
BFL_Sonny
BFL AM Dave
bcp19
nibbknot

I marked this information as confidential per this protective order, but this does not completely prevent the PMs from being made public. In particular, I believe that BFL has full access to the PMs and could choose to release them.

If you want to know exactly which PMs were released, respond to this PM and I'll look it up.

I regret that this was necessary. Hopefully it does not cause you any trouble.

open ur eyes ppl, theymos not to be trusted.

With the exception of nibbknot, all were employees of BFL. I'll give you one guess, and one guess ONLY, as to who was nibbknot. Time's up!

I wish I was there at BFL's office the day Sonny Vleisides first read nibbknot's first posts. The dude went totally apeshit wondering who the fuck in his office was nibbknot because nibbknot exposed a bunch of shit that ONLY Sonny knew was true, yet nibbknot had the info.

Aside: Anybody wanna buy the nibbknot user account on this forum. PM me if you do. I may me able to contact the dude.  Grin

Why are people even excited by this technobabble of marrying several technologies which don't scale? This is not breaking any new ground. It is just an rehashed, mashing together of technologies that already don't work well.

Let's be honest with ourselves about the relevance of your bullshit.

Nobody has solved the blockchain scaling problem yet (except by centralization but that doesn't scale in terms of trust).

When are you fools going to stop rewarding scammers for deluding us with technobabble bullshit?

They already have a $million in funding. That is enough for them to go build a project and launch it. Then they can self-fund by selling tokens on the exchanges in a free market.

Stop handing people $millions for writing a technobabble bullshit whitepaper. You are destroying the ecosystem. The criminals are siphoning off all the capital and none will be remaining. That is why our ecosystem is stagnating. No progress is being made.

Re: Stay away from ICO

Who cares if Monero and Dash are scams when you can make good money on every pump and dump.

Scammers take capital out of the ecosystem and spend it on crack, Yachts, booze, and prostitutes.

You personally may get richer (if you are a good speculator), while on average the ecosystem gets poorer, unless of course we are bringing more new fools (and their capital) into our ecosystem from outside of it.

So eventually there could be no ecosystem remaining for you to speculate in.

My opinion is we have a window of time (5 - 10 years?) within which to leverage this opportunity to produce something really significant that could help the world. And to produce a $trillion marketcap.

Any way, please continue what you are doing. Hopefully those who developers who are serious will find a way to operate within this ecosystem so we don't lose the potential.

This is actually one of the best things I have seen posted here. Yes lets wait to see what the Github has. The team says its been developing for many months. These tops investors are supporting Qtum for a reason. Lets see when it comes out.

One of the most interesting questions in my opinion is, if the rest of the team knew about Dai's past or not. Any infos?

Github will cement proof of intent, I would provide it before the ICO IMO.

This is actually one of the best things I have seen posted here. Yes lets wait to see what the Github has. The team says its been developing for many months. These tops investors are supporting Qtum for a reason. Lets see when it comes out.

They do not want to show the code, covering fact that they are afraid that someone will make clone their project. Although, I think there is completely different reason.
