Stormia, Gleb, etc.

You do realise the co-founder of Ethereum and the current CEO of Jaxx.io publicly announced other day that he's headed off to China to advise the Qtum team?

Surprising lack of acknowledgement that this event occurred here...

I saw that, doesn't change the fact they haven't revealed the ICO funds and that, now, based on stackoverflow's own logic they should do so. That is all I am asking for at this point. Can you think of one good reason they would hide the funds aside from needing to hide something about them? Every other legit project has revealed this info on their own accord immediately following the conclusion of their ICO.

And to be an advisor does not mean much by itself, Peter Todd was an advisor to the scam coin Viacoin. They paid him and that was enough to convince him it was legit and to work for them and as a result his name was unknowingly used to pump up and legitimize a scam. We already knew there are big names (Roger Ver, etc) "associated" with qtum, but I'm not so foolish to let that alone satisfy my suspicions because in the past big names have been associated with scams, often unknowingly. And we know for fact that Dai scammed a previous coin (BitBay) under the nose/behind the back of the rest of the unknowing team and its associates. So in otherwords, there very much so is precedent for my suspicions here.

Honestly, if they could just prove they raised the money they claim they did I would admit I was wrong about that and give the project the benefit of the doubt until the release. But appearently they are unwilling or incapable of that simple task which says one thing to me.

Buddy, I have no fucking interest in this forum whatsoever. The only reason I'm even posting in this thread is because I invested in 1000 QTUM.

Why would I invest my time in other threads?

Fair enough, I'll remove that part of my post but can you respond to the rest of its content- ya know my actual points?

And I hope you can at least understand the suspicion though when tons of newbie accounts are near simultaneously registered with the sole purpose of defending a singular project. Sockpuppets/shills are very much so a real thing and quite prevalent on this forum.

I understand your suspicion and the rest of your comments are founded, so I guess we wait and see.

I did check out QTUM on baidu the other day and there seemed to be substantially more activity...
Maybe it's a failure in PR?
Who knows.

We wait and we hope.

In all seriousness I think Ethereum is the safest best over the next few years anyway.

I only posted here because I found the project by accident. It was mentioned on a porn star's twitter and I ended up on this forum. Once the LR opens, I will close this account and never return.  Some of the obviously incorrect or inflammatory posts needed to be corrected so I decided to do so.

Qtum, I like, but only in Chinese exchanges, why?

The Crowdsale used mostly Chinese exchanges, but Allcoin.com is Canadian.

The sale was not available to USA participants, but even then, Poloniex said they do not host Crowdsales anymore.  Bittrex has a clause that they need to be the exclusive exchange for any sale. This is 2 major reasons it could not be hosted there.

Another reason is there is a lot of support for Qtum in China.

So, we have Team Qtum addressing a post penned by a dude who's never posted in this thread before, with only posting so to increase his post count in satisfying his current sig campaign requirements, but Team Qtum CAN'T provide proof that $15M was truly amass during its ICO, an easy task for any non-nefarious actor.

Meanwhile, Team Qtum's #1 fanboy, cocksuckeroverflow, is calling it quits because he just came to the realization that this thread has turned in a landfill of incompetent trolls.

Totally fuckin amazing! If the likes of the above happened in an insane asylum, the actors would be given a double dose of medication till the end of their days.

It seems some trolls concluded this is a scam without any actual proof. Wake up!

This is not a scam, it's a legit project  Grin

Operators of legit projects ALWAYS never show proof of transactions after promising full transparency like Qtum did.

These are your own words bud, so if you are arguing against them you are arguing against yourself: "the burden of proof is on the one who declares, not on one who denies"

"the burden of proof is on the one who declares, not on one who denies"

I don't think I am smart, those are your own words- you're the smart one! Wink
Unless you are arguing against yourself, in which case that isn't very smart...

I'm just ecstatic that you finally agree that the burden of proof is on qtum who has declared they raised over 15 milion USD but provided absolutely zero proof to support that. And that the burden does not lie on me since I am simply denying that claim. This means you are going to help me pressure them for this proof, right? Really looking forward to you asking qtum to provide the proof now that you admit it is their responsibility! Glad you are on our side for once!

Or do you want to admit you are a lying hypocrite? Which will it be?

You can't weasel your way out this time, those are your own goddamn words.

As for the funds, the exchanges have collected them, that's proof enough for me. Now if you accuse these exchanges of being in bed with the team and falsifying information, you know what you need to do: provide proof.

I think it's useless at this point to try and discuss with you, it seems paranoia have gotten the best of you.

Team Qtum said the word "transparency" countless times, but totally forgot about it once they garnered $15M and all we asked was to see the proof, but what we got instead was them linking to articles echoing their claim and Team Qtum responding to a sig-campaign poster about something mundane. They might as well just come here and tell us what brand of goodies they feed their cat.

Team Qtum walks into a bar. The bartender asks what'll be? Team Qtum says all the drinks are on us because he just got $15M. At closing time, Time Qtum is presented the bill from the bartender. Team Qtum says, "What part of us getting $15M didn't you understand? The we'll-pay-you-in-September part?" Right then, a regular by the name of cocksuckeroverflow got into an argument with the bartender, allowing Team Qtum to sneak out the side door. Then cocksuckeroverflow said, "I'm sick of arguing with a clown bartender who thinks he's smart. This bar has turned into a landfill of incompetent winos!"

I will say right away that I do not belong to the camp of supporters of Qtum, as well as to the camp of its opponents. For the most part, I'm only interested in the technological component of this project. And, having got acquainted with the raw source code that the development team posted on github, I can clearly see that the work is being performed (or was done earlier).
It's hard for me to say that developers implement the full range of planned features and capabilities, but even some of them make the project interesting not only from the investment point of view.

Thanks for admitting you are a lying hypocrite. You can't apply your logic of "the burden of proof is on the one who declares, not on one who denies" only when it suits you but not when it doesn't. No matter how hard you try you can't deny it, those are your own words.  And they are the ones declaring a successful ICO, I am only denying that. So according to your own statement they are the ones that bear the burden of proof. If you try to deny that, you are demonstrating that you are incapable of adhering to your very own statements and logic. Meaning you are a lying hypocrite that can't be trusted.

The problem with you is you want to pick what proof you want, and only accept that. This is not how it works!

LOL show me the "data" you speak of. There is only one type of data that can serve as evidence and that is the data on the blockchain. That is exactly what I am asking for, the data- the addresses which show proof of the funds. It's so simple. Just how dumb are you? How dumb do you think observers to this thread are?

Pick what proof I want? There is only one proof you imbecile and it hasn't been provided. LMAO.

Is that all I got, or are you just retarded? Because if you knew how to read you would notice there is more there than just name calling in my post. On the other-hand, all you have are these pathetic attempts to deflect.

Whatever, as you already said youself: the burden of proof lies on qtum. They haven't provided it. Therefore, the ICO must have been a complete failure. SAD!
