Guys - I've been holding my QTUM tokens in MyEtherWallet, and missed the swap on the exchanges. Can anyone tell how I can swap to the new token?

yes

you can do this through changely

Yes, please wait for changelly.com to offer swap services on October 9th. You will be able to swap your Qtum ERC20 tokens to Qtum Ignition Main Network for 3 months. You will need a Qtum Igntion wallet, which can be found on our github:

https://github.com/qtumproject/qtum/releases/tag/mainnet-ignition-v1.0.2

Make sure you encrypt the wallet, back it up, then do a test transaction of 1 qtum to make sure everything works.

Also, in response to the people that have e-mailed swap@qtum.org and foundation@qtum.org, we have begun to process these transactions, but please be patient with us we will get to you.

Hi there Dev, I am confused. According to the email we got from foundation, they are asking us to send our erc20 token address which in my case is my myetherwallet address. But the post on medium.com says this:
that QTUM will send QTUM IGNITION MAIN NETWORK tokens and we must download the proper wallet and send qtum wallet deposit address.
See (https://medium.com/@Qtum/qtum-community-development-updates-week-of-october-3rd-10th-7ab98956eeb5)

What is the right thing to do.Must we download the official QTUM wallet and give the foundation our qtum wallet address or must we give them our erc20 etherwallet address. Is someone telling us to do the wrong thing
Thanks for the help

Hi there, Is there anybody here on this forum who is aware of this query that I have, that can give me some feedback.
Thanks

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

You need to give the Foundation your Qtum Ignition Main Network wallet address, this way they can send you tokens.

If you send an Qtum ERC20 address, they will send you nothing. It must be a mainnet deposit address. Make sure it's not a Skynet test network wallet, it must be an Ignition wallet:

https://github.com/qtumproject/qtum/releases/tag/mainnet-ignition-v1.0.2

What do I do next, help is ready to pay a Commission. Mail foundation@qtum.org also sent the question.

So you provided foundation@qtum.org with a Bittrex deposit address, which was a Qtum ERC20 address, and now you want to change it to a Main Network address? You will need to get a Qtum Ignition Main Network wallet, generate a deposit address (don't forget to encrypt and back it up) then e-mail foundation@qtum.org and swap@qtum.org again

Explain your situation and wait to hear back from them.

how to withdraw qtum from myetherwallet to an exchange which supports only the new qtum-adresses?

You will have to use qtum.changelly.com to swap your Qtum ERC20 tokens to the Qtum Ignition Main Network

You will require a deposit address that you generate from a Qtum Ignition Main Network wallet, which can be found on our Github: https://github.com/qtumproject/qtum/releases/tag/mainnet-ignition-v1.0.2

Make sure you encrypt the wallet, and then make multiple backups. Do a test send to make sure everything is working properly, then proceed to swap the rest of your tokens on Changelly

There is no too soon.  if your coins reached your wallet at all then they're Qtum tokens and not the er20 tokens.  How long have you been waiting and how long have your tokens matured? Are you leaving your computer open 24/7?

QTUM Beginner's FAQ (Without the Bullshit)

https://storeofvalue.github.io/posts/what-is-qtum-without-the-bullshit/

With so much going on for QTUM, it’s not surprising to see a myriad of questions about QTUM from prospective and existing investors alike. Questions range from “what exactly is QTUM?” to “how do I start staking?” I’ve decided to write this blog post to answer some of the more common questions and hopefully have it serve as a beginner’s FAQ for QTUM investors...............
