Qtum SDK

QtumJ is bitcoinj ported to the Qtum blockchain protocol. The bitcoinj library is a Java implementation of the Bitcoin protocol, which allows it to maintain a wallet and send/receive transactions without needing a local copy of Bitcoin Core. It comes with full documentation and some example apps showing how to use it.

It’s last days for the Qtum Galaxy Program which ends on January 4th. There are some big prizes yet to award, and you can get more information and join at https://galaxy.qtum.org.

The results so far are impressive. During the Program, which started on December 5th, the Qtum Global node count has grown to over 3,000, with the top countries of South Korea, United States, China and Singapore and a total of 64 countries.

The 0.18.2 update for the Qtum-Qt Core Wallet provided a new look for the user interface and some new functionality, especially for staking wallets.

TL;DR the Qtum-Qt GUI wallet has two new color themes available, and a Stake page with a Staking button that is necessary for staking wallets to click to the right to activate staking.

Great updates guys! Really loving the new color themes for the wallet. The Dark one is my go-to theme for anything that I use (apps, browsers, wallets) and then you added the Dark-blue theme which is super dope (well, that's for my taste  ). I'm currently rocking it right now with my wallet and it's just beautiful for my eyes. 

The new Staking Button is a much needed feature for any wallet out there. Period.

Well, this is a common thing to altcoins across the board, not with QTUM only. When BTC pumps, almost all the altcoins dump in terms of their value. Look at the screenshot below. Almost all of them are in red. I must say, this is quite the thing with BTC and altcoins in general.

Qtum Neutron is the infrastructure to support new virtual machines and the first will be the x86 virtual machine allowing smart contract development in C, Rust and other languages. The EVM will continue, but the x86 VM will allow easy creation of smart contracts using safe, well-known, mature languages and tools, and also provide a new state memory model using DeltaDB.
