What would you want from a NEW coin?

 There are a billion coins out there , most of them have either 1 or 2 things (some have both) , a solution to a problem or great marketing.

 Now assuming satoshi nakomoto came back today with steve jobs and they have a billion dollar fund , satoshi will create a new coin and steve will market it.

 What would YOU want from that coin? What do they need to make (add , remove or create) to make this new coin stand out from all other new coins?

Sometimes you don't really any funding to create something revolutionary and bitcoin was an example for that . I'm with the idea of creating a coin as long as It's used for something and not simply a copy of another coin , If we take DASH , Monero , Zcash , BitcoinDark and many others , all of them claiming that they are anonymous and everyone trying to pump his coins to be the next big thing while It's not how It should work. In reality , we don't really need those coins as bitcoin could be improved to be more then pseudonymous.
MaidSafe for example is offering something new  a decentralized internet where ChronoBank is a Time-based coin , those are things that we didn't see in the past few years and this is why they are going to succeed while others won't so as long as the idea is good and unique , the coin Itself should be good but of course marketing and campaign to advertise are always needed.

I dont want to ask more new coin since bitcoin is already enough for me and i think all the needs and features on a good coin is already on bitcoin so i wont ask for more and its too hassle to think that making a new coin and feels like we start all over again.I dont think satoshi will come out just to do that dumb thing.

I totally agree with you, their are so many coins in the market but out of them 95% of the coins are offering same and after they hit exchange and after pump and dump the coin dies. Their should be the coin with feature of using it on long time, just like bitcoin used as digital currency and it is used just like fiat currency to do lot of things. Until the new coin have its own unique features they wont survive, like ICONOMI (ICN) coins they are giving the platform of Mutual Fund in Digital Crypto currency and giving option out of crypto currency users to utilize the power of crypto currency. That is the unique feature which gives coin a long term prospectus and users also enjoy it for long term.

Out of the billion coins,90% of them are Pump and Dump scams.Don't even call them coins,they're simply investors based "manipulative" games.

I think personally, bitcoin is perfect cryptocurrency, it's just need more developing. What the point if SN & Steve create new coin? Yeah could be if they create one, it will be huge, but where if they create one? After bitcoin die itself? SN I think it's not kind of person like that.

I think we are good with Bitcoin, it does it's job. Couple Bitcoin and instant payments (Lightning Network), making it more attractive to: retailers, exchanges, gambling sites, e-commerce etc and it will change the world.

Extremely absurd and illogical.Why would anybody buy coins or even trade them when everyone has enough of it ? I buy 2 coins,mine 10 more,use 10 to mine 100 more.Oh well,that's like saying there wouldn't be any poverty in the world if everyone had the note printing machines!

I would want the following things from a new coin:

1) No regulator or central authority or development centralization where they have the command over when a hard fork can be made in events where large thefts occur (Consider the case of Ethereum)

2) Fast transaction confirmations, almost in 2 confirmations or less. This would have less waiting time to trust that the transaction is truly confirmed.

3) I'd also love to see a trusted community for altcoin, and that it's no large whale pump and dump scenario.

A coin that will be a legal tender at most (80% of) countries and online markets.
Faster transaction coin and liquidity.

Looking at the present crypto market, I feel there is plenty of coins which try to solve problem of other coins and end with some problems
of their own and if Satoshi plans to develop something, I believe it would make sense if he works on bitcoin to make it more better by solving issues like scaleability.

 There is a limit , like 25 X coin mined every 30 minutes lets say, mining is limited as always.

 The thing is , the more you have , the more %share of the mining you get. Say there is 100 coins in the market, and 50 more will be mined.

 You have 10
 X has 20
 Y has 50
 Z has 20

 Total , 100 coins in the market ,

 You will mined 5
 X will have 10 more
 Y will have 25 more
 Z will have 10 more

 That way. Is that better?
