Only we have to feel if we are a gambling addict,because we can't even control our mind so its a shame for us.
There is nothing wrong with the gambling it is just a fun purpose like playing other games but it will rewards us with money if we are lucky.And we need to risk our money of we want the big rewards.

Some gamblers are shameful because they made a mistakes letting their emotion affected their decision making.
Emotions are really high in gambling because most of the time we lose and if we cannot accept loses, we will continue to chase until we end up losing big money.

I gamble but I am not a gambler and I never felt ashamed of myself because of gambling, what I usually feel everytime I will lose money out of gambling is "regrets" I will start telling myself that instead of wasting my money with gambling I could have bought something or maybe eat a yummy food and I think that is the reason why I will never be addicted in gambling because I easily feel bad even how small I the money I lost.

But be careful, because if it's already has been addict., it will really looks bad from your side in front of many people around you (not only people closest). I don't think its something to be ashamed of but it is something that a person can't be proud of. In my opinion, gamblers need to be discreet on what they were doing. My father always says that when a person is addicted to gambling, you can't trust them with money. He has proven that a lot of times. You probably have a different situation but in my case. I do not think that being a gambler is shameful, but I do believe that being addictive to gambling is shameful because you could lose all of your money, fortune, health, and behavior due to it. As long as you're really making money from it, then it's a good thing, however not all people were mindful to determine if they really gaining from it or not, just keep that principle and don't allow yourself too much to lose. Gambling is an entertaining activity to enjoy but with control.
