Using bitcoin over fiat allows users to secure payments and store money without using their name or going through a bank. Currency that are government regulated, can't give you such possibility.
Some people in this world is now choosing bitcoin over fiat because the value or the price of bitcoin can pump or rise really high on the right time and having a bitcoin can give us many money and by holding it for long time it can help us to be very successful in life. |

nope. I think satoshi did not make bitcoin for that bad use. I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ? Block chain tech is a awesome tech and btc is getting popular. I hate these misuses of precious btc. It hurts me. This will lead into unhealthy society along with unhealthy future generation.
yeah, actually it will make people who do not use bitcoin will think that bitcoin is for criminals. and I ever read someone made a thread who said that his father did not agree his job to earn bitcoin. it was reallt bad. Bitcoin is the first successful cryptocurrency in the history because it easy to earn money and to transact better than other currency. |

Because of protection of privacy. BTC transactions do not reveal the identity of the person who does the transaction, however all transactions are transparent since the public ledger records and shows all transactions and this can be found using the wallet address.

I think more people now from the whole world are preferring bitcoin over fiat due to some reasons like
Bitcoin is digital currency so using of bitcoin is easy and fast.
Bitcoin price is varying so people are doing trading with it.
Bitcoin is most secure then fiat as its digital currency and its security is sure in all conditions.

Bitcoin manages to have 0% risk & it is time consuming too.Anyone can trust it because users and holders are the only controller of bitcoin.So they can easily use it..Hence some people prefer bitcoin over fiat.
A lot of people now is choosing bitcoin over fiat because they know that bitcoin can also be used in the future and the value of fiat is no increasing compare to the value of bitcoin that can increase and when it increase people can make more profit and bitcoin is really safe that's many people is choosing bitcoin. |

Well, sad to say we can't do anything about that. It is human nature to take advantage of anything that one can. That is probably why criminals themselves do it. Yes, i feel you. It is really sad to think about it. But we just have to accept the fact that we are powerless and cant do anithing to change the way things are now.

These use cases are not limited to BTC only, fiat currency is also used widely in porn sites, gambling and drug dealing sectors for many years. Every invention has both good and bad usage. So no need to worry if bad guys are using BTC for bad purpose. BTC is no doubt an awesome invention, whose positive use cases are more than negative. |

There are things that cannot buy with fiat, thus bitcoin can use to replace fiat. But some of them use bitcoin for bad thing because hard to trace. Thus they might prefer use bitcoin to do the transaction.

because some people predict that bitcoin will have a price, or a high fiat value, which is higher in comparison to what they spend then. so they prepare for it, and hold the bitcoin for a long time until it reaches the highest price. |

people who are into internet not just the one who uses the internet to log in facebook but the one who are curious about the internet are the one who prefer Bitcoin . People who just surf the net looking for dates dont know about Bitcoin so they're preferring fiat over Bitcoin ,they are the traditional people who just use the internet for fun but not for learning. Fiat has many advantage because it has worldwide usage in each country compared to bitcoin.

Bitcoin notoriously used in the dark web anyway. Fortunately, it has been developed for something better than that. We need it to disrupt expensive traditional banking system to send and receive money everywhere. Besides, a lot of startups have been established using blockchain technology. Why some people prefer BTC over fiat is just because Bitcoin is a new technology and has so much to offer. It is very economic to transfer funds using the technology. It is a nice spot to invest in and gives huge return than anything the world has ever seen. It is widely accepted around the world and has been legalized in more than a continent. The productivity of the technology is matchless. |

Everyone would want their money to grow by just buying a commodity and waiting it grow just like that. Thats why people prefer bitcoins to fiat. Its mainly because of the investment opportunities involved. Others like criminals prefer it because it helps them to be anonymous and avoid being caught by the law enforcement agencies.

Absolutely the main reason why some countries put a ban on it. Due to it's decentralized and "Free" nature. People are able to use it on such things that'll gonna hurt a society who will adapt to it. Imagine druglords, human traffickers and the like to be able to operate without the authority being able to find a clue how to trace them? It's really scary, isn't it? |

Well some people prefer to use bitcoin, because bitcoin unlike of tradition currency bitcoin is easily to buy online, bitcoin has no single point of failure, making far more secure.. Unlike of fiat currency is controlled by one institution, bitcoin is customer driven.

I think many people using bitcoin especially big groups of companies because it is tax free and cheaper for them to pay for their client. A Non regulated at all. But because of being free, they can transact people by their own mislead. I hate also that bitcoin misuses by this kind of acts. I thought before, it was a limited act, nexause everybody joining in this forum, but in deepest research, it also involved to such bad thing. But anyway let us focus to the right side to lead us to have more good benefits . |

People prefer Bitcoin over fiat because it gives them freedom, Satoshi builds Bitcoin so we can have freedom. It is sad to see how people still do not understand that and happy to limit themselves in the boxes made for them.
