Boilr is an Android app which monitors Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, cryptoassets, futures and options, and triggers price alarms according to your settings.

Supports 2 alarm types:

• Price Hit - Triggered when price crosses the alarm's upper or lower limit.
• Price Change - Triggered when price changes more than X amount (in currency or percentage) in a specified time frame (e.g. 15 min). It uses a rolling time frame: price is fetched with a given update interval (e.g. 30 s) and compared with the price fetched one time frame ago (e.g. 15 min ago).

Sound and vibration are configurable globally, and individually for each alarm. Lists of exchanges, pairs and alarms are fully searchable, allowing quick setup and configuration. The alarm list behaves as your ticker, where you can reorder your alarms and directly change their limits. Triggered alarms ring, displaying their status, until you turn them off. Just like an alarm clock. Market data is retrieved directly from the exchanges via Wi-Fi or Mobile Data (if allowed).

Boilr supports all exchanges available on libdynticker, as all their pairs.

But how it different from Bitcoin checker app that currently work very well on my Android devices?

Putting it simply:
1. It's free (as in freedom) software. All source code at https://github.com/drpout/boilr under GPLv3
2. Alarms ring continuously until you turn them off (i.e. they can wake you up).
3. Has a different UI/UX which you may or may not prefer. Alarms are directly presented on the main screen and you can edit them directly there, unlike Checker where they are grouped under an exchange/pair wrapper. (Daily traders seem to prefer this as they need to change values all the time.)
4. Supports a different set of exchanges, such as some with futures, options and cryptoassets.

Sorry for the long delay. This is now fixed and live in version 0.7.0 above.
Actually, this had been fixed a full year before your post, but we had no release since then. Only those compiling from source benefited from it. We'll make sure to release more often from now on.
