Yes, isn't. What the hell the about number 4 of the http://coinmarketcap.com/ is dead? But did it the caused by the SegWit hype? totally seems like it's going outside from my speculation.
So who will be earning a lot of the profit from buy in 0.004?  Totally promising today. LTC still have their future.

dead? certainly not. and i have been saying it forever, even when price was low and going down. i always keep saying even if this coin had nothing to offer as far as development goes there are Chinese that will pump it without hesitation. and when they do, they pump it hard.

also i was kinda expecting this rise because history has shown that litecoin had always moved up with bitcoin price but always with a delay. and i believe this is start of more pumps to come to match bitcoin's rise.

It's not 'dead', just stagnating both in terms of development and in 'adoption' whatever that means nowadays.  The sudden surge in price is obviously a pump and it can't be sustained for a long time by the people who did it, assuming the pump doesn't get, for lack of a better word, 'viral'.

Litecoin once moved in tandem with Bitcoin, at a price of 0.01 BTC. That peg was broken and Litecoin was in the dumps ever since. In spite of the sharp rise over the past few days, Litecoin has still not reached 0.005 BTC. So I would say that there is still some way to go.

I don't know, personally I'm pretty skeptical that Litecoin will continue to rise.
It's great that we have some news of development and the price is trading up on the exchanges, but what are you really doing with LTC besides speculation?

0.005 seems like the max and even that seems pretty high IMO.

Litecoin was never dead in the first place. It was some lame users who were trying to spread fear and rumours. I think it is those Chinese users who missed out on bitcoin rally, is now getting into litecoin and pumping it up. Anyways, finally all litecoin holders have something to be happy about!

Price can't stay at 0.005 BTC and above. The price was quickly pushed down by sellers and Litecoin dropped 5% in a day. Bottoming is a process and it will take some time before one can call Litecoin a bottom at 0.004 BTC.

what i think is that litecoin is not really going anywhere, it has not much of development and nothing much to offer since it is copy of bitcoin.
but the fact remains that in this market these things are not determining the price but the demand and pumps make it, and litecoin has always been in the list of coins which Chinese are pumping a lot.

i assume you buying at 0.006 btc or above if you were holding this coin over than 6 months unfortunately currently the price has dropped 0.005 btc below but volume support still high for LTC and maybe there will be huge pump at 2017 but i personally don't dare to holding this coin for long term because i'm not sure the price will back again to 0.02 btc just like several years ago

SegWit already bring a fresh news for the coin and what next? We need the other good news to give an another green candle for the litecoin. But the SegWit hype will be coming again soon.
Wait until block 5 will be appearing and see the final hype.
