just got a xfx 7970 for my pc and while mining it seems to hover araound the 75degree c mark  i think i have adaquate passive cooling and 2 fans pulling the air through

full system is
phenom 955 : stock
xfx 7970 gpu factory oc to 1ghz
8gb ddr3 ram 3 hard drive and dvdrom.

should i be concenern at those temps and does anyone have stock setting for a reference 9770 i can use to underclock the card back down

75C is fine.  I've been running my GPU's at that for close to two years now.  That is the target temp for CGMiner.  But if you want it cooler you can set your temp target to 60c or so.  It will work the fans harder and make more noise but that would be fine too.

thank you for the reply, forgot to mention im using guiminer.

also the 9770 is giving out about 500mh/s is that about right or is that low
