Wasn't me either, but 0.47 BTC for a little over one day of mining with 250 Mhash/s isn't too shabby. I only had .7% stale shares too  Smiley, I'm already up to 9.5% in the namecoin pool with one miner at 75 Mhash/s Sad Findina a second block soon would be cool! my estimated reward right now is 14BTC and slowly falling. I think I'm going to go buy a second 5770 that I found on Craigslist for $80 ans nearly double my hashrate Grin

Oh look, another proportional pool for Multipool! Grin
We are discussing a method for combatting this.

We are currently monitoring all users hashrates over a certain period. It's possible we could use this as an indication of how much to pay each user.
I would then either have a long "tail" of payouts (if you average hash rate on long timers) this making everyone pay for past miners for some time or (if it's shorter than it takes the pool on the current difficulty) still enable hopping.

A working + proven scoring method has been published. Use it!

https://www.bitfinex.com <-- Trade BTC for other currencies and vice versa.

I am thinking about adding a 0.5 BTC bonus to the finder of each block, what do people think about that ?

I think that would be a great idea, would maybe bring a new users to the pool  Wink

Also i like the graphs displaying hashrate of the workers, nice!

I keep getting a lot of "Work queue empty, miner is idle" messages.  Any way around this?

I'm still getting about 50% "Work queue empty, miner is idle" messages.  So it effectively cuts my hash rate in half.  Any way to solve this?

The 1BTC is not a limit, that's just the default!

You can enter something lower!

Wow, this pool has grown a great deal in the past day!!  And I have to believe we are close to finding our first block soon!! And I would love to be the one that gets lucky and finds it!! lol
you clearly do not understand how mining works.

LOL, I am still very new to this, to be sure.
The outcome of each hash is independent of any hashes that are before it. in other words, after hashing for one year (and not getting anything), the chances of you getting a block is still the same.

Ummm, it's a fine point but double check what you are saying.. If the clock always starts at each block then yes the chance for everyone is equally proportional to the hashing power they have. If the clock starts 1 year ago the "chance" is significantly higher at that point.

As soon as you get some confirmed reward ( you currently have 0 confirmed rewards ) then you'll get the payment automatically from the pool!
