Can anybody predict what will be the value of bitcoin tomorrow? I mean what actually makes it go up or down? There has to be something behind it right? Can we follow it to learn more about its behavior and also have a better idea and understanding of what might happen tomorrow?

Well, I am not an expert but still I would like to give my two cents on this topic. First of all, I think this thread belongs to speculations section (don’t worry, mods will move it).

Since you used the word ‘value’, I think today it’s much more than the price at which bitcoin is being traded today. Even though no one can predict future accurately, we all can have our terms of opinion and according to that I see the price of bitcoin around $10,000 in next few years (probably 5 to 10 years). I am considering the facts of growing digitalization, smartphone users, and the literacy rate of the whole earth population. We could have a good place in the economy if things went well considering legal, taxation, popularity aspects.

In my opinion about predictions of bitcoin value i can say  time wilk come it will reach 2800 dollars in the near future when demand rises and people were becoming more aware of its use. There is nothing impossible of that value as you can see nowadays it reaches 2000 dollars in the past days of bitcoin exchange value thats because bitcoin really influences a lot of people and more and more will use bitcoin as years walk through.

Are you really serious to the idea that there is someone who can predict what will be the value of bitcoin as days passes by? There is no person like that and never it will.

But yes, analysis are helping those traders make their future executing of their trading moves. There are lots of references used by any traders and taking it as a factor why should they plan like this or that.

well according to the WebBot Project by Clif High, he said something about 1 BTC would equal 80808 Yuan in 2017... That converts to over $12K per BTC...

Will it happen.. dunno.. But China's population and India seem to be the biggest buys of BitCoin... If all the major currencies start collapsing in 2017, I'd expect
people to convert to Gold, Silver, or BTC.

Firstly this is the wrong section, it should have been posted in the speculation section. Right now I feel btc should have a upward trend. Don't see it coming down u think it should stay stable around 900 and rise about 980 and then it will be interesting to see where it goes. If you don't need money hold it, if you want profit sell it. Buy later at lower rates. To. Early to say where it could end.

everybody can predict the price movement of bitcoin but the problem is very rarely to see someone else had 100% accurate regarding their predictions but just following the market trend maybe will be more good rather than trying to predict the price because there is no 100% correct for predictions and those predictions can be fumble anytime

At the moment it is not very difficult to say what really actually drives the price.The easiest answer would demand, buy and sell.
If you wanna go much deaper to find some certain reasons there had many things people speculating about.
One is the halving effect which may kick in more and more now.Another are the situations in countries like Venezuela and India, and the continuing currency devaluation through more and more money printing and ZIRP, NIRP. Also Trump as the new president had been mentioned as an effect.
Imo it's a combination of all of them and probably a few more reasons.

have you tried reading some of the topics in this board such as the wall observer or have to even visited websites for speculation like the tradingview.com

if not i suggest doing it, you can find out a lot of the answers to your questions.
in short we can not predict the price, it is just speculations.

it is true, there will never be a prediction that has accuracy. Here we just assumed. movement does not seem to be much different and has a margin of error of 10% up and down. everyone is entitled to predict because the price of bitcoin is quickly change every moment.

The reality is that predictions are meaningless - how many predictions have been off the mark on BTC - the Mt. Gox hack is a good example. I do think that many of the BOT predictions on BTC are based solely on previous prices and the look of the graphs. But BTC has so much going on that have nothing to do with previous prices.

I think expert's prediction have weight, I agree a mere newbie's prediction like me is meaningless.  Charts and graphs are use to be reference on the price movement during an event , referring to graph alone without referencing on the event that happen on that time is useless and an often mistakes of newbie setting aside the event that happen during that particular rise or fall in price of BTC.  Experts do the right thing charts, news, graph history with certain news, analyzation then prediction.

I predict someone will create a thread tomorrow where people discuss what will happen the following day.... nobody knows for certain, but sometimes you can have a pretty good idea how things will unfold.

Im not expert and i cant see future, just my opinion, btc value will hit $1500 at 2017 and keep growing until some alt coin replace it.

We must always take into account that previous market behaviors never guarantee a similar performance in the future. If so, perhaps the price of bitcoin would never have brake the level of $100 by repeating the previous behaviors.

I think the exchange rate of bitcoin is very dependent on many factors and it is not possible to predict. If the market bitcoin will be a lot of speculative capital, its price may have a very large margin. Besides, the world has not the stable times. Once the Chinese economy begins to fall will be the collapse of bitcoin.

I don't think so, but it seems like in this time the bitcoin it looks like a bubble. It caused by the SEC hype and push the price is rise only from yesterday. And i think in this time the correctin of the bitcoin price is coming.
