I'm new to trading and Poloniex. I noticed a set of 4 Tabs under MARKETS. The first tab lists most of the Altcoins. What are the other 3 tabs used for? (ETH, XMR, USDT)?
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

They are diferent curency then Bitcoin.

First tab are different altcoins traded with Bitcoin, or BTC pairs.
Second tab are different altcoins traded with Ethereum, or ETH pairs.
Third tab are different altcoins traded with Monero , or XMR pairs.
Fourth tab are different alltcoins traded with Tether, or USDT pairs.

Yes, so instead of trading alts against btc, you are trading alts against whatever other alt the market is.
