Aeternity is a team that is good at explaining their project and building network effects. They are doing free marketing for my technology.

It is true, they did put my name on the website, and they did offer to give me some tokens. I am planning to launch another blockchain soon with a zcash style distribution instead of a crowdsale. I will fix some errors that the Aeternity team is telling me to put into their blockchain.

After contributing shouldn't it be possible to follow the contract and token in the ethereum client? Any directions on how to add it? The only thing I've found by poking around is the raw code on the contract but that isn't very helpful, was hoping to be able to see my AE tokens on the blockchain.

Currently, you can check your contribution using the Ethereum blockchain and/or in the tool close to the footer of the page.

This technology can be used to insure against the state, which is equivalent to a bet that the government will grow. This gives government people the option to make a bet that government will shrink, and since they have the power to make the government shrink, they will.

It is a peaceful, voluntary, incentive compatible way to dismantle the state.

This alone sounds like an excellent reason to invest.

So please correct me where if/I'm wrong.

1. There is not yet a final decision around the capping of the number of coins.
2. Coins will not be distributed until Q1 2018.
3. There is a second ICO phase starting in May - I'm not clear on why it's structured like this.

1. There is no final decision on second phase cap yet.
2. Token will be tradeable after phase 2 of the campaign. The migration to the mainnet will happen in Q1-18

Almost completely right. It is actually simply Phase 1 with no cap, so everyone can participate.

Hey sorry for the delay, I did not sleep for about 40 hours

So, there is no tool that you can use to calculate your AE amount. You have to use the good old math:

1 BTC = 23.6941 ETH = 26063.51 AE (for contributions in the first 24h)
