Hello gang,

Kinda freaked out at the moment. I recently installed Multibit wallet on my computer and transferred all my coins out of Coinbase into it about 2 days ago. Everything looked great and confirmed that night. All the confirmations went through.
However, now this morning I awoke to witness all confirmed transactions to unconfirmed. I do have a ton of back ups if anyone is wondering.

It states 0 Bitcoins to the left and the amount of bitcoins to the right unconfirmed. Any ideas of what happened?
Should i restore an earlier back up?

Sorry for if this questions has been asked before but I was unable to locate what the cause would be.

Thanks
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

It probably has trouble syncing since you don't have the blockchain stored on your computer yourself.
I'd just wait a bit, or look up one of the transactions on a blockchain explorer and see if it is confirmed.

More and more people are getting this problem, I see. Have you tried "Repair wallet" and/or "Verify network"?
I've read that old (pre-keepkey takeover) versions doesn't get this problem. Someone reported on github that switching to an old version fixed it too. If you're going to try that, don't forget to save your seed.

Well, just tracking my experience. I ran a repair wallet and it fixed the issue. After a little research, methinks my wallet fell behind in syncing with the blockchain. Roll Eyes

Man, thanks for responding. You guys rock. Really appreciate the help.

To be honest, I am just trying to own my coins locally and not on an exchange or broker (Coinbase). This has establish a new level of anxiety to say the least.

Anyhow, I bought a Keepkey recently and plan to transfer to that shortly.

Yeah, just wanted to say that I recently encountered this type of problem with my main wallet on multibit and the "repair wallet" feature was the thing to fix this.

When I entered my wallet it seemed as if the 50+ transactions I've made in the past with the wallet were all either 'sending' or 'receiving'.  Plus it took out my balance that I had in the wallet from before and was then "unconfirmed".  So, nonetheless, if someone else encounters the same issue, I would suggest resyncing with "repair wallet".
