XP coin is just one of thousands of new super coins, newbies buy them and lose-lose-lose money instead of joining time-tested MOON,
if people would like to burn their XP coins to get some MOON, why not, let's discuss it...

Well, I don't think there would be much to discuss, I've been tracking the XP community for months, however, I think the interest is dying out, also XP is only available at the Nova Exchange for DOGE/PIGGY, there are not many buyers, therefore, a lot of XP holders are going to be stuck with worthless coin, are there any other possibilities available that you might know of where or how they could exchange or convert there coin to MOON?

 

There are XP/DOGE Markets on both coinexchange & novaexchange and it looks like the DEV paid the Yobit listing ransom recently.

Besides XP POW is almost over and pure POS starts soon.

I understand what you mean, however, on the side, I would like to suggest trying this community as well, I would like to give you some of my MOON if you'd like, I know you are just as dedicated to XP as I am, but speak with our community and checkout the website, mining is incredible to the New Moonlite explorer, which will be redeemable soon, but this community is strong, and the Devs are admirable and think long term, unfortunately the XP dev hasn't been able to respond as often. Moon is here for the long term because the community is incredible.

MOON is not an exchange-made coin.
It was listed at Cryptsy which was the largest exchange and MOON had BTC in buy orders, not DOGE...

After the tragedy with Cryptsy, to rely any longer on exchanges? No, thanks.
Let's build a real infrastructure with real world usage and let all these new pos coins go to Yobit where newbies hope to make a quick buck and devs hope to get money from newbies.

MOON has its own destiny, please don't compare it to pos coins, made for selling at Yobit, you know that they don't survive even several months usually.

By the way, regarding Cryptsy.
They have started to accept claims for the court.

For the last 3 years people come to the thread and ask 'Still alive?'

If you count posts, you'll see that Mooncoin community is more active than Dogecoin's one.
If you look at funded addresses, you'll see that Mooncoin has more funded addresses, than some coins from very top one...
If you look at block explorers, Mooncoin has 5 independent block explorers.
If you look at Coinmarketcap.com, Mooncoin is always in top 100 coins or in top 200 coins (when people dump it - to buy cheap).

People work for MOON, people ask for MOON donations,
new and absolutely innovative things like the Moonlite platform (Smart Likes) are created from the scratch on top of Mooncoin blockchain, etc.

You are asking 'still alive?' probably because you remember a Cryptsy tragedy. Yes, it was an impact for MOON. At Cryptsy MOON had a trading volume of several BTC per day... now it's listed at 4 or 5 exchanges, but they have low volume, the biggest volume is at Bleutrade.com (MOON/DOGE market),
2-3 million DOGE currently in buy orders,
however it's still far from the MOON volume at Cryptsy .

For example, today 24 h volume is $142 https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/mooncoin/  which is quite low...
List it at big exchanges, and you'll see a good volume, however you understand that big exchanges list only new coins these days (ICOs mostly, which pay a lot for listing).

Today the 24h MOON volume at the Bleutrade exchange is about 400k-500k DOGE.

It looks like you will not be able to get your altcoins. The court is planning to sell coins. You'll receive funds, if you submit a claim and if the court approves it.

Nice, the price of Mooncoin [MOON] received a 910.05% increase. Not bad, considering that this coin used to be traded at 4-5 liteoshi.

I am guessing that since deaconboogie isn't back yet the coin has been takenover by one of the users within this forum.

With the price per Mooncoin being 14 liteoshi, project Mooncoin reminds me of the old days of Cryptsy when it was being stable at 30 Liteoshi.

I don't really see a use for this coin though other than just keeping it as a collectible thing.

It's not only your problem, 99 percent of people are misinformed about MOON currently.

No, the price is stable, the primary market is https://bleutrade.com/exchange/MOON/DOGE
of course you have a chance to buy it at DOGE markets to sell it potentially for BTC with a 910.05% increase (if there are more BTC-based markets),
but people don't understand that yet.

the original dev and the user takeover
Since 2014 when the original dev disappeared, MOON is backed by several investors and supporters, it's not one user, however all have equal opportunities, as an average buy price is at the current price level, LTC was higher in 2014, and 4-5 litoshi were only for a couple of weeks after the Apollo phase when miners dumped MOON. And MOON has more than 34000 funded addresses, the community is yet not very active though, anyway it's more active than Dogecoin's one (if you count posts in the ANN threads).

No, the point is MOON is designed for real use. It's faster than Bitcoin, the number of coins was set with future in mind.
Currently Mooncoin offers Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin owners (who have some risk appetite) to diversify their holdings into another classic, well-known and time-tested coin, but with an unbelievable Risk/Reward Ratio.
