Hi Can anyone help with stuck Mooncoin on the  http://wallet.moonrush.org wallet. There is no way for me to access that site anymore. I had 1 million coins and now they are worth a decent amount to me and would really like to know if anything is possible at all to get them back. I contacted barrysty1e and had no reply as of yet. I appreciate if anyone can help me

the webwallet has not been operational since september, with a warning not to use it for at least a month earlier.
these virtual hosts were eventually scrapped/deleted.

james

Thank you for the reply. That means my coins are forever lost correct? If that's the case fair enough it's my mistake leaving them there

Please read the message below from another user who retrieved his coins in the same situation:

Hi guys

http://wallet.moonrush.org/brainwallet_moon.html >> link is no longer working?

can someone help me on this

ii) Once you've copied this; visit http://wallet.moonrush.org/brainwallet_moon.html and paste the brainwallet phrase into 'passphrase' - then click toggle key to reveal your private key. <<

I need my private key but the site is down

Hi guys I got my coins back. Please refer to below on how i did it:

1. If you like me, you stored your mooncoins on wallet.moonrush previously. You probably saved your url like this
http://wallet.moonrush.org/#XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (please dont share this passphrase to anyone)

2. To get access to your mooncoins, you will need to access to your private keys.
please copy your passphrase after the # XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

3. Go to https://walletgenerator.net, choose 'Mooncoin', 'Brain wallet', input your passphrase and you will receive its private key.

4. After that you can import your priv key to the Mooncoin wallet,
by going to Debug-Console and typing this command importprivkey XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXyourprivkey

Many thanks to Mooncoin_Foundation for helping me out. Thank you!

I hope this can help someone in the future. To the moon!

Have you tried that?

Many people believe in Moon, but have no clue what happened, and how it happened. It's normal that this activity attracts a lot of attention.
Depending on the outcome, and how happy people are with this outcome, you coin will or will not go to the moon.

Since it's this amount of coins I'd suggest talking to the Cryptsy Cryptocurrency Administrator and a lawyer.
It's not only about what people want, but also about what's legal or not.
Good luck to you! I bought a big chunk at 3 sat. We'll see were we land..hopefully on Mars.  Wink

hm, this is odd - that tx fee should be fine, regardless of fee; it will fit comfortably into the 'free' portion of a block

Forgive me my ignorance but how the coins were returned? What exactly happened?

Vassilis_Dev are you saying that you are being threaten?

Please read the previous posts how the coins returned and what happened! Is a nightmare!

The threats i received/receive is a big joke! I have pm's who claim that they lost coins from any service you can imagine and I must return to them the amounts! Cheesy
They saw money and they believe is good opportunity to "fishing" money!
For example..
A guy who post public here that he lost millions one year ago, also sent me pm and threat me that if I dont return his loss he will move legal against me... and i get a lot of them!
I have a lot of that pm's.. are big joke.. but are enough to put noise in my head!
Don't forget, in the same time, I answer and help anyone who pm me with real problem in wallet, or is new member and need help. And all the above make my work hard!

This is good opportunity to answer to all those pm's and FYI:
I'm not administrator/owner/etc of Mooncoin.
Mooncoin is not a company/organization/etc.
No one in community of Mooncoin is responsible for 3nd party companies/actions/etc.

Exactly.. read your post.. you suggest.. everyone suggests..
This Cryptsy Cryptocurrency Administrator maybe is legal, or has jurisdiction in my country/Europe, maybe not!

Right now I'm waiting the results from my lawyers..
I want the best for Mooncoin!

Hi Gang! i posted yesterday, but then the focus was on crypsy. just wanted to refresh this up front in case anyone had any thoughts.
thanks!!
-LFL

i have downloaded the new mooncoin wallet. i don't have any problems with it, but would like to find some more information about the wallet itself. i am not technical enough to read the source code or anything like that. i would really like to know more about the backup features and where private keys are etc.

i have all my coins on the 2 exchanges at the moment. before i move all of them over, i would obviously like to test the wallet (ie. put a few coins in, back it up, erase it, and restore the back up).

pardon my ignorance, but i am also just looking for more info about the wallet... do you need to back up after every deposit or withdrawal? is there a paper back up or seed?

i have been reading everywhere, and haven't found anything yet (although I'm sure its already been discussed Smiley ). if anyone could point me in the right direction, i  would appreciate it!!

haven't been this excited about a crypto in quite some time!!

Well I lost 57 million coins from crypsty, but If all of those coins are burned It will bring the circulation close to doges so it might  be a plus.

hello james, thank you for reply

or can you give me a link to the latest windows version pls?
at this moment i cant compile on my pc

yep, that should be fine.
i was actually yet to try Vassilis's windows wallet, usually do my dev work under debian.
ran an old key of mine through it and sent it to another address.

seems to work fine?
the transactions that you sent (the ones not showing up correctly), were these done from the new wallet?

You're aware of the fact, that DOGE has unlimited supply, yes? In contrary to Mooncoin.
So it is really not understandable, why everyone is whining about the supply, Mooncoin offers. The original details were already very wisely chosen (from the original ann by deaconboogie):

--
Details:

Algorithm: scrypt
Max coins: 384,400,000,000 MOON (yes, billion!)
Block time: 90 Seconds
Difficulty re-target time: 8 hours
Pre-mining: Absolutely none!

Block rewards:

Blocks 1-100,000: 0-2,000,000 MOON
Blocks 100,001-200,000: 0-1,000,000 MOON
Blocks 200,001-250,000: 0-600,000 MOON
Blocks 250,001-300,000: 0-350,000 MOON
Blocks 300,001-350,000: 0-175,000 MOON
Blocks 350,001-375,000: 0-100,000 MOON
Blocks 375,001-384,400: 0-50,000 MOON

All future blocks are a fixed 29531 MOON.

I never understood, why they had to be changed (most probably, because everyone here is overly impatient). But now the block rewards are even more reduced and will gradually minimize over time.

So even if the ~62 bln of Cryptsy would be sold anytime, there would not be a real problem, since most probably this would be done in an auction and that usually means a higher price than the price on the exchanges. And why would the buying investor sell those immediately? To make a loss? Don't be nervous. As said, Mooncoin is strong and will survive all that. It will come out of all this with even more power.  Smiley
