Opened up my wallet for the first time in a few weeks and saw this "Warning: Unknown block versions being mined! It's possible unknown rules are in effect"....

Read through this forum to get caught up hoping I'd see something about this and I didn't. Also thought maybe the fork happened but that doesn't appear to be the case either. Anyone have any info on this?

On which version of the wallet has this message appeared?

I just successfully synchronized "v0.13.9.0-b257fcdsegwit (64-bit)" and it downloaded the blocks for two weeks without any message.

I had no problem syncing, it just has that warning message across the top. using wallet - Mooncoin Core version v0.13.9.0-0ef57fc-segwit (64-bit)

PS. I closed the wallet down and reopened it and the warning message is gone.

I'm not an expert but it has to do with the segwit activation by miners. I found this: "That is leftover from when miners had started signalling for BIP 91, which sets bit 4 in version numbers. When BIP 91 activates, it will force miners to set bit 1 (which then indirectly will cause activation of BIP 141 SegWit). So check the nodes around you manually maybe.

No software release has implemented BIP 91, as a result, it warns because it sees an unknown feature rollout with significant support from miners."

If you google the warning you will find some explanations.

Perhaps I'm confused  😕. We are only burning the stolen coins, right? There have been some posts that looked like users needed to sound off if they don't want their own coins burned.... I like my 🌙 Coins.... Just burn the cryptsy coins. Mine were bought legit on coinexchange

Heard alot of bad things about coinexchange site myself.
   Mostly about withdrawal of coins.

  any issues withdrawing mooncoin?

Still coinexchange does not return my mooncoins or provide any info!
DO NOT RISK YOUR MONEY THERE WITH THEM SCAMMERS!

same problem
i have sent 9m mooncoin from coinexchange on 23 DECEMBER but not received yet and not find Transactions id on Mooncoin Explorer.

and same problem here.. close to 1 month and a half and they have not fixed my my withdrawal issue. They closed my ticket twice then stopped responding

that´s always the problem with small exchanges. But to be honest it also takes years on bigger ones too

well it´s okay that some things need some time, But this COINEXCHANGE.io is the Worst!

Still were almost 2  months further and they ignore the hell out of yah!
their support is worthless because they do not care if you fricking loose your money!

mate you can repair your wallet wit this mooincoinwallet.exe -zapwallettxes

first close your wallet go to command window as administrator then go to folder of your wallet then fire it up with this :   yourmooincoinwallet.exe -zapwallettxes  your wallet startsup and repairing your transactions your mooncoins should be in there again !!

coinexchange.io has the coins so how could the mooncoin wallet be of any help=?

depressing, from millions traded per day to today's 24 hour volume of 50k.  From 9  sats back down to 1 sats. Huh

Well that´s how P&D works. Their sure will be a next cycle, but to sustain value, there needs to be more

Can't it just be a mistake while copying the address? they might be in someone else's wallet with similar address? Don't kick me in the face I don't know the full story here. I could be wrong but sending from one exhange to another is IMO very sketchy because you are not in control of your money. Its better to transfer the coins to your wallet and then to another exchange.

Hi everyone.

Is the burn going ahead?

I have read and re-read through this timeline so many times and in all honesty we should do the burn. We are stuck as a community and our coin is stuck and it has so much potential. This is just a speed bump and we need to let go and move forward now. If we can’t do that we might as well sell our coins because this project will then be over.

I want Moon coin to move forward now. So as a community member I give permission for the coins to be burned.

Vote for burn: 1 signed (Wesley)

I tried to build a burn address, I simply took a valid address and replaced a letter, but it is not valid. I'm not a dev, but I think the problem is related to
OP_RETURN output..?  Huh
Again i ask the whole community to create a burn address transparently, it can help us barrystile, poliforal, gihiggins, Titan, mebagger, but it is better an independent dev to avoid unnecessary and annoying attacks and suspicions.

Burn address: MXCryptoLifeDotNetBurnAddrXXY9SEys

Links behind this address:
https://dev.cryptolife.net/trusted-burn-addresses/
https://twitter.com/masternodecoin/status/914428140516081664
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1182082.0    (Quote from this topic: "But you're right, let me modify my post to say that there is a 1 / 2^128 chance that these address are spendable.")

Testing of the address on this site: http://lenschulwitz.com/base58 says "Bitcoin address is valid.  Address type: 'Abnormal'."

Testing of sending 1 Mooncoin to this address via the wallet "v0.13.9.0-b257fcdsegwit (64-bit)" resulted in currently 10 confirmations (https://chainz.cryptoid.info/moon/address.dws?MXCryptoLifeDotNetBurnAddrXXY9SEys.htm). - 6 are needed for green "OK" in wallet.

So if it was OK for MTNC (currently cca. 580 BTC market cap) I believe it is good for MOON (currently cca. 3700 BTC market cap) too.
