So today, I was browsing the comments of one of the writers in newsbtc, a crappy bitcoin "news" website. Here's what I found:

His history with bitcoin (at least allegedly) seems to be dating back to 2010. There are allegations against this guy saying that he was a very early adopter, bitcoin manipulator and even some far fetched speculation that he was involved in the creation of the currency itself. Some digging could yield interesting results.

The writer in question didn't deny allegations, instead he threatened with legal action.



So, who's up for some digging? Questioning? Blockchain analysis or even trying to contact the guys from the Diqus to see what they know... Anything could be useful. All of this if you don't mind being sued of course.

At last; someone heard the whistles we have been blowing about Tamer Sameeh, one of the mysteries related to bitcoin. I am here just to show you a comment that he deleted from NewsBTC. Tamer is a hardcore coder and hacker and could code along the blockchain 2 weeks after Nakamoto's paper was published, which why a lot thought he made bitcoin. I also heard people say that he is a sort of a former intelligence agent or something. He gets furious when someone links him to the blockchain creation which is something strange, cos anyone would like people to say that they created the blockchain. Anyway, I will just post a snapshot of the comment he deleted from his site, and I even paid the fee to be able to post here behind a proxy, cos for sure, this guy can locate any router and mobile phone in the world and I don't want him to locate me!!

No I changed my mind, I have one of his old friends told me that he can even locate IPs of emails. I am not a computer geek so I don't know if this is true, so send  me private message here cos I have the emails  of 3 of the guys on that list

I've known Dr. Tamer for quite a while and even worked with him. He is just a writer and a trader and I know these accusations are fake. These are clearly accusations that are meant to attack and professionally destroy Dr. Tamer.

Interesting that you have found this guy is problematic, i just exposed that there is evidence he is

1. Lying about being a doctor.

2. Spreading blatantly false headlines connecting Bitcoin to ISIS and Terrorism, with no credible source, just pure FUD.

I am someone know Dr Tamer in person for real life and has been close friend to him in 2010-2012.

He works as child doctor and teaches the students in medicine school, he doesn't need to steal money, he is genius and can have thousands of money

I saw him in 2010 and he only talk about bitcoin and used to give people for free and help people every country in the world get real cash for bitcoin

he even gave me job on the internet to feed my children when i have no job and helped me get cash with bitcoin

if you say Tamer make bitcoin, ok, but Tamer is no bad man, he is kind and always gives others

Yes you are writing truth. you really know dr Tamer. He is good man, doctor and writer. He helped people get bitcoin. poor people in country like me can't have bank and tamer helped me get job on internet and have money without bank. bank ask for 1000 dollar to give you account so i can't work on internet but tamer clever help me with bitcoin to feed my children.

That shows only that he is co-author (4th) on a paper published in a journal. That does NOT make him an MD. It means he study Master in Pediatrics and do a little research but that doesn't make you a doctor!

Guys, allegations of personal experience with Tamer isn't evidence. Also please try to avoid ad hominems and insults. The reason I'm suggesting that we do some research is because I'd like to promote people to come forward with evidence related to the existing (or new) claims so we can see what's truth and what's not. If you, claiming that he's a good guy and know him, could in some way falsify claims of others I'd be perfectly ok with that.

It seems that he is no longer associated with NewsBTC. About a week after I exposed him, he stopped publishing articles on NewsBTC as you can see here: http://www.newsbtc.com/author/tamersameeh/

His Twitter account also no longer claims any association with NewsBTC, only that he is a freelance writer and promoting this "BitcoinnewsChannel" (not going to link it) thing.

The logic behind creating sockpuppets to "attack" himself is a few things. For one, to create some kind of a "bad boy" image as someone who started early and is hated for it. It also makes the legitimate criticism of him seem less valid when it's among comments that are invalid hate based on nothing. Any controversy is good in the minds of some who just want attention.

He recently has been causing problems on the subreddit r/BitcoinMarkets where he has been defying the rules and conventions and posting unoriginal technical analysis and charting in new threads when he should be posting them in the Daily Discussion threads. He has a nasty habit of just causing trouble on forums while promoting his articles, and being confronted by people and getting really aggressive in response. I find it really disturbing he continues to call himself a Dr. and a pediatrician when he is not.

What's interesting is that even here, there are numerous newly created accounts that are possibly trying to act as scapegoats. It's possible that those were also created by him. It seems unlikely to me that others would obsess so much over what seems to be just a pathetic spammer.

Information about him found online should be taken with a grains of salt based on what we've seen so far. Thanks for your input.
