how to explain what it bitcoin to a beginner?

When I tell to friends what bitcoin is I always say briefly, it's better to show some videos from youtube or coindesk.

I am just new here and these is the suggested way to understand more about bitcoin which my friend told me. It is a good way and very informative, though there are lot of videos that is so confusing so I need to find another videos.

Just type what is bitcoin? in google and on youtube and you will after that understand much more things about how it works and how we can use this coin ,how to buy bitcoin and many other useful things.
