There should also be some kind of program committee who decide if the reviewer did a good job.

And maybe you should first focus on one area of research, e.g. chemistry, and create an initial publication with reviews etc.

Abstract

The purpose of this proposal is to create a platform for decentralized academic journal. Our main aim is going to decrease editor's or publisher's effect on decision making process on the manuscript's publication process.

Our team has 4 members currently. We, as the creators of this proposal, are working as researchers at various universities in Turkey. In my whole career, i see that academic journals is affiliated with their publisher. These publishers are strong and powerful in industry. Such as Routledge, Taylor-Francis or Thomson-Reuters. While the editors are strcitly dependent to these companies, i think we could not talk about "academic freedom" at the moment. They choose the manuscripts that will be published considering their interests or market's care.

We will end this pressure in academic world. In our platform, there is not going to be an editor. For example, if our journal is subjected on Computer Science, referees will be selected by the academic staff on Computer Science all around the world. This step will be done by simple voting system. Academicians who wanted to involve in this process, will be a candidate for referee position. The author of manuscript is going to pay little fee for review process. This fee will be divided in referees who had evaluated the manuscript.

DAJT will be the fuel of Decentralized Academic Journals Platforms. DAJT will be distributed through an ICO. Once the development phase has been ended, DAJT will be listed on an exchange. A researcher who want to publish his/her manuscript in one of DAJ is required to purchase DAJT. Thereafter he would pay the journal fee with DAJT. Collected DAJT will be distrubuted to reviewers.

Further discussion may be required for this process. However i decide to open a pre-ann topic and see the impression.

ICO is planned to start in 1st May 2017. In this phase, we are open to private investors who'd like to support us in beginning.  Feel free to write here or pm me if you have any questions.

In traditional system; researcher submits his paper to journal system. In 1st phase editor take a quick look and have a decision about paper. If editor think! that this article worth to be evaluated he passes paper to reviewers. In this system, everything is strictly centralized. That's what we aim to change. DAJ is a revolutionary movement.

That would be awesome if this project will push thru.
Usually, it would take months before your paper will be accepted and such revisions follow, before it gets published.
Let's see how this project will shorten that process.

Our web site is under construction. We are currently working on it. Budget is important issue here, we have some projects to implementing our web page. That's why we call for early investors.

White-paper and other technical details will be published in 1st May 2017 because of privacy issues. However we are ready to reply your direct questions about project via pm.

However now we are publishing a figure about the process for information. More is coming...

We are open for translations. Simply post here that you are willing to do translations and finish the work. You'll be rewarded reasonable amount. Translation, signature-facebook and twitter campaign details will be announced on 1st May 2017. But you may reserve your position by doing the work earlier.

I believe you need some reviewers also as there are some typo errors even in the OP.
Anyway, I'm bit hesitant with this one now. As there are a lot of academic/scientific journals that you can submit your paper without paying or buying anything from them. You just need to wait a lil bit longer.
So this one needs a good marketing on how to entice the researchers to submit their respective works to them, without so much complications.
