It's not all too hard to understand, from my subjective point of view of course. The way I see it is this was a long time coming. Look at the past 2-3 years. Ever since the crash in Dec. 2013, it's been a slow healthy uphill climb, even with a tarnished reputation. Recently the price has surged, but I think that's simply a culmination of the growth that I just described, combined with other world events, the new year, the fact that bitcoin is approaching it's all time high, and it's approaching the gold parity. It all simply makes sense to me which is why I believe the price won't go crashing down like it did last time. What do we all think of this analysis?

The argument that is a  culmination of the growth is not supported by number of people use to buy/sell goods and services with bitcoin. The main driver of this rally last week is capital controls Chinese government imposed to their citizens. That's no way Chinese suddenly found out cryptocurrencies. Simply is the most quick and convenient way to send their funds outside China's borders. My question is: What is going to happen if the Chinese government  decide to change its policy? I believe that most of Chinese will cash out with result a big dip of bitcoin. Imo after a big bump follows a big dump too.

I would said, it is a great and bitcoin supposed to be exposed, bitcoin has so many advantages that need to be announced to the world and bitcoin already mention in some movies, it is time bitcoin making headline news, and crypto currencies already start to steal the world attentions, so I think bitcoin will be very popular this year

Well every year bitcoin is getting popular ever since because of the characteristics you've said ! I do agree that bitcoin should be spread because its characteristics is very tangible which is good to everyone! Everyone should know bitcoin because it is best and very best of the best! Earning and spending it but just exchanging it to own fiat.

From the update from my angle and observation for the last 24 hours of Bitcoin, I have seen some erratic movement hovering between $1088-$1137 and this is something I still dont understand in the days coming to this we have seen persistent increase in price hopefully this can be kept at that or else the prophets of crash would have succeeded in making their prediction come into fruition...

Bitcoin will be dominating to its price its more like a lion that roar, which i mean its price roar with its value becoming even more higher and higher every week price changes and this is the result of higher demand. Economy in btc is good for the past months and i would rather say the future is better for btc and people were now adopting it and more will be educated of it because of its profitable value. In the next 24 hours price is like a wave in the sea that bounces high and changes its position which is the btc price is having nice track record.

Damn, the prices when from $1,100 one morning then bam! It's back to prices similar to the end of 2016. We're back to $950 people! Would look like it would stabilize at that range. +/- $100 probably. Was able to buy when it plummeted to $890. So I profited a bit from that buy. I just hope it goes back to $1,000 so I'll be happy with a bigger profit.

It's great to see this levels of prices but I hope this could sustain and just raise. I hope this is the new floor price of bitcoin and let's hope it doesn't drop back below $1,000. If it does, I hope I have money to buy because I still believe in bitcoin even if it crashes. I think it will still rise up after another fall, like it always does. I don't think this super crash would really happen though. We would just drop back to $800 the most.

Bitcoins popularity has made bitcoin to reach one thousand  dollars in value in just a short time. Though bitcoin just dropped to 900$ and climb back again to 960$, this figure is nothing compare to what is about to come. Bitcoin in 2017 will be more fruitful. Probably this is because the prices just suddenly ballooned up and really skyrocketed too fast and it didn't really have everybody catch up to the price level. Maybe it could grow slowly and would just stabilize. A sudden rise isn't really a good thing, unless you are holding plenty of coins to sell off by the time it reaches a point.

Looks like it happened too quickly, it happened within ten minutes. I watched this happen on poloniex. It was really scary to see my funds drop by 20% in just that ten minutes.

This was the expected correction but everyone thought that it will break the $1200 old price after that it will crash but same like before touching $1000 it crashed from $950 to $ 870 it went and was roaming in that range for some days and then it bounced back and went up to $1126 but now back the resistance is tested so i think this correction is healthy and if the price stays i this range then next bounce back we can expect the ATH price to be crossed and next all time high price range will be created.
