Any New Update Dev?
If you look at the github distro a lot of updates. We need info, and a 1.0.3.3 wallet, dev.
I'm not a programmer but I think this is going to cause a fork in block 778250 between two wallets version if there is not a mandatory update. New block reward.

Quote

Can anyone confirm this?? I can be totally mistaken.

Salute

And other problem. I'm trying to run a wallet.dat backup from windows 1.0.2.2 in linux 1.0.3.3 and I recieving corrupted wallet message everytime I try.

Salute
I'll check this problem and if I find it I'll fix it.
Try to create a new one wallet.dat in linux and send with windows wallet to linux wallet 10 XRBC.
And write to me got linux wallet coin or no got.

I think that to the block 778250 I will have to release the v1.0.3.3.
Version 1.0.3.3 already available on GitHub.
Owners of pools and exchangers can be updated to v1.0.3.3.
Please, recover the 1.0.2.2 as master till all it's finished in v1.0.3.3 and no compatibility issues has been checked. Also you should contact novaexchange.com to put the wallet in mantenaince mode till the new wallet it's totally stable.

If you are developing a masternode this coin will become another dash clone just like pivx, then you will see a price spike as people try to buy up coins for whatever the masternode collateral is needed. This is a good thing for coin holders in the short term but I think that when it comes to the x11/masternode coin model dash is so way ahead of everyone that I don't understand why it's worth it.
Dash is a great coin and it's masternodes and funding model are great but I don't think there is really any room for any more clones of this kind of network.
I'm not a developer but I think that what is needed is something new - some new feature or niche that makes this coin special.

Crypto currency enthusiast and miner since 2015. Mined approx 200 ETH during 2016 and 2017 and sold it at approximately $US40 each. Then I watched it reach $1000+ each. If anyone bothers to read this stuff pay attention to this: HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL

I started mining with 1 AMD 7950 and 1 R9-280X. Then I gradually built my AMD operation into 12 R9-290s. Awesome ETH hash but ridiculous power consumption and heat. Over the last year I defected to the Nvidia team. I now use GTX 1070s. They were expensive to buy (probably a bargain now) but awesome hash rate vs. power consumption. blah blah blah blah

Like Pivx?? Wow, so dash is now a fixed POS coin with seesaw reward mechanism and zerocoinlib protocol integration for enhanced anonymity? Good for Dash. And yes, Denlon, made this coin a Dash clone like PIVx, please...

He made a small commit to the wallet a week ago. I suppose he keeps fighting with the lebeldb problem.

There are now six V1.0.3.3 wallets that have appeared in the last week or so (out of the US & Canada by the IP's)......working on it but not in the repository yet I guess?

Obviously I'm not a developer, and I was only looking at Pivx when it was much younger than now, and to me it looked like a dash clone. I mined some and sold it cheap and forgot about it - at the time it looked like a rush to grab masternodes. If it is paying decent rewards then good luck to it. I am now Mining Reddbytecoin at about 450mh/s so I would like to see it succeed too - my perception was just based on a comment someone made about reddbytecoin masternodes. I guess if can mine enough to have a masternode that would be fun. I just think that model seems to lock all the coins into the masternodes and if you don't have a long history and many coins already mined (like dash) - that it doesn't make sense to have a coin which is mostly masternodes that don't do much because the circulating supply is all locked up in them.
There are too many coins and too many kinds of ecosystem for me to possibly understand even a fraction of them. I will keep mining reddbytecoin and stake them and see what happens I guess. If this coin has only one main developer then he has done pretty well. Please forgive my ignorance.

When he put the new version of the wallet I compiled it and found problems to use my old wallet.dat with the new wallet version. It seems to be related with that.

Due to the new version of leveldb.
If you compile version 1.0.3.3 please reimport private key to new wallet version.
Or create a new one wallet.dat and send coins from the old wallet.dat to the new one wallet.dat in wallet version 1.0.3.3.
