It is good to see that they are open to the public and whether they follow what the majority demands is another thing, they were advocating bitcoin unlimited for a very long time and when they started to have issues with their line of code they changed their stand against them and now they are considering segwit, lets see what the final outcome would be.

Of course it's "should we activate segwit?" not active, but anyways don't they know the majority already are in favor of SW? there is no need to ask.

However how does this work? isn't antpool powerful enough to block SW for ever?

We need miners to pull out from antpool and give the hash power to the wise pools.
If we keep with this rate then SW might be activated next year?
If 8MB supporters and undecided miners join us with SW then we shall have a chance.
Recent altcoins rising should be an alarm for Btc miners, you can't stay on top if you don't act like you deserve it.

Breaking : Antpool mined a different block, not BU anymore. Its happening guys. The miners will betray BU because they need a higher ROI and Ver&Wu pockets are getting empty. I said this some weeks ago lol. Lets celebrate! SegWit will come soonish.

Where do you see that?

https://coin.dance/blocks still shows the last Antpool blocks as BU

york780 is right, it's block 465362 (Edited number, was wrong). Mined by AntPool with Bitcoin Core according to http://coin.dance/blocks.

A joke of Jihan Wu? Or can we celebrate? Other AntPool blocks still are mined by Bitcoin Unlimited.

Edit: Scrolling below, I see that it's not signalling Segwit nor another proposal tracked by coin.dance. Strange. Maybe an error?

No, the miners are secretly deserting Roger Ver because they want a higher ROI for their investments. BU is costing them money so they will switch soon. Wait for it and load any cheap btc now

Well, for now, according to coin.dance it seems it was the only Core block Antpool mined (since this block all Antpool blocks again support BU). But I think it's still worth observing. It's too early still to celebrate, because Segwit's block share actually went down again under 30% and BU is again near the 50% mark.

I also saw that. It must be a desperate response from Wu&Ver. Mark my words; SegWit will come soon. The signs are everywhere that SegWit will be implementated. BU is buggy and not safe.

I spotted another AntPool Core block: 465637. No Segwit signalling, like the other one, nor support to another proposal tracked by coin.dance.

its a shame that some of the bitcoin miners cant swallow their pride and do whats best for bitcoin and just signal segwit already so we can move past this stupid powerplay for block control
