I'm not clear who won this. I took the auction ending at 11:59 to mean that it would end at 11:59:00, not 11:59:59.

techgeek300, can you clarify this?

Sale pending, unless higher offer is sent before sale is final.

You created an auction which ended at 11:59 pm EST on 01/10.

I played by the rules of the auction, so I'm disappointed that you would change these terms after the fact.

Candsno: it appears he's selling to roterdam.

Not involved in any of the bids but...

What is the point of having an auction with an end time if you are selling it to someone who bidded over the ending time because it is a higher bid.

You should honor your own auctionrules and declare the correct winner.

I.m.o BookofNick because you mentioned auction ends @59 and not 59:59 or 00:00.

People usually display time in 00:00:00 so I figured I was in before the buzzer, but either way selling to someone who bid 0.05 higher three hours after auction's stated close is not right to make an additional $40. I note also that this auction did not include any bid increments.

You could argue it either way - of course I'm sure seller would side with you since you had the higher bid - but you have to admit it wasn't very clear.

And yeah - I would concede this "auction" to you over roterdam. But it's seems like the seller is not honoring his auction.

Please...just list something for sale rather than making it an auction if you have no intention of honoring the auction.
