Bitcoin's Next Direction 2017 Predictions

Hello,

After successfully predicting BTC moves in 2016 here on the forum, I have a new set of 2017 predictions that I'm using to trade the current move.

1. Rise to $1,200-$1,300 (Current move)
2. Correction to $800-$900 level and range trading for a while
3. Rise to $1,500
4. Correction to $900-$1,000 and range trading for a while
5. Continued rise to $2,000 by end of year

tldr; BTC will double this year after making a couple of moves up and down.

Is it predictions or speculations?what are the factors you considered to come to these predictions?I checked your last predictions but there are many similar ones on forum.

Your $800 prediction correction comes early, I know certain that Bitcoin will test $2000 before the end of the year because there are so many economy in distress presently.

Yup i also was a bit surprised it even went below 950 in just a few days. Though knowing bitcoin and being able to  talk to people who've been using btc for years now, i'm pretty sure bitcoin would be able to bounce back hopefully stronger after this. It's not really alarming as the price is a bit steady now so hopefully we continue the trend that bridged 2016 and 2017

Such variations are necessary, corrections occur in any market. I think what scared people was the fact that the price dropped sharply just after the ATH.

The good news is that the price is rising more slowly and steadily than before, so this can be a good sign, especially for long term holders. Another good news is that this year will happen things that have never happened before, such as the launch ETFs for Bitcoin and the participation of major investors.

If the price manages to stay at the current levels which is very likely, it would give more confidence to new investors.

Yes, stable prices will get more investors attracted toward bitcoins. I believe that attraction will decide new directions for bitcoins in 2017. When bitcoin will be having huge value, we can expect many companies start accepting bitcoins so slowly bitcoin will hit mainstream adoption. Who knows? it may happen within 2017 itself too.

Yes, stable prices will get more investors attracted toward bitcoins. I believe that attraction will decide new directions for bitcoins in 2017. When bitcoin will be having huge value, we can expect many companies start accepting bitcoins so slowly bitcoin will hit mainstream adoption. Who knows? it may happen within 2017 itself too.

"Investors" don't want stable prices, they want appreciating prices or volatility, because that's where the opportunity to profit is. Speculators don't care about a stable value. Look at the two times btc hit over $1000... that's what brought tons of new people in to btc, the look of easy gains. Stable value would be good for the currency, not necessarily for increased adoption since that's not what's bringing new people in.

Thanks for sharing your predictions for bitcoin price this year. My opinion was that we will go back under 1000 again, but after this increase I'm not so sure in that. Do you really think that price will go back to 800 $, and that after touching 1300 $ mark? That is 500 $ drop and it's a lot, great for people who will try shorting but generally I dont like more then 30% of the price drops.
But I will follow this, when I see price on 1300 $ I will sell all bitcoins I have and I will buy again at under 900 $.

Don't know exactly that we will go back under 1000$, but if we compare last few months price it is slowly increasing. It's not increased suddenly. So my guessing is it will not go down, but it will reach slowly 1500$ within 1 or 2 months. If this price is stable for a complete year, then it's festival for Bitcoin users.

i think it is just the 2nd month of 2017 and the price of bitcoin is trading above 1260$ so we can expect that in the middle of this year the price of bitcoin will cross 1500 USD and after that in the end of 2017 i am hopeful that the price of bitcoin will be trading aboove 2000 USD and may be touch 2500 USD level very easily.

Yes, I also like your predictions. 2016 was a great boom years of Bitcoin. it has a bit of volatility, but that is not the big problem. Following that in 2016 then in 2017 I think Bitcoin will grow strong and possibly higher. Price of Bitcoin is now more than $ 1200, probably will surpass the threshold of $ 1,300. It even surpass the price of gold. Its value is growing and rising. I also added his prediction that the number of people using Bitcoin in 2017 will increase more. Following the service, the utility allows  payment by Bitcoin as in restaurants, taxis, .. and many more people investing in Bitcoin. I believe that 2017 will be the year of Bitcoin.

A single forecast of the Bitcoin course can not be found, different people express different points of view. The average predicted rate of bitcoin is $ 400 for bitcoin. There are more optimistic forecasts and there are versions that crypto-currencies will disappear altogether, but I personally think the latter is doubtful - the world is developing, like currency systems, if the crypto-currencies become very popular, something will be invented with their security.

yes there is no doubt about this that now the present price of bitcoin is the real price of bitcoin and there is no manipulating factor involve in the increasing price of bitcoin. and hope that bitcoin price will remain as stable in future also.

If it corrects and goes down to $800-$900   twice, it wont reach $2000 at the end of the year.  Probably it will only reach around $1500.  According to your analysis, .  I think it is too steep to reach $2000 after dropping to $1000 (2nd correction) assuming that happen in mid year. So I guess it will be around $1500 - $1600 at the end of 2017.

The direction of the price of bitcoin form this month of march to April the price would be 1300$-1400$, for upcoming months of June up to it will gonna be 1600$ til 2000$ but according to the projection of on the bitcoin experts before end of this year bitcoin will the minimum 2000$ and the maximum was 4000$.

What is the difference? For me prediction is nothing more than glorified speculation.
Both are nothing more that guessing based on current situation and history of bitcoin market.
Just because you call something a prediction instead of speculation it doesn't have higher chance to come true.
It is matter of semantics, nothing more.

Op's prediction is a bit conservative and dull, but very likely to happen.

i am agree with you, we can expect that the price of bitcoin will continue increasing for the whole year, and hope that at the end of the year  bitcoin price will be trading above 2500 USD level.

It would be really great to see if bitcoin can achieve that price in this year as everyone is very positive about it and that is the reason people are buying more and more bitcoins at a moment so that they can sell the when bitcoin hits that price.

That is similar to my predictions that I just made a few days ago. But recently I read a news that Chinese people are buying more bitcoins and it has reached the highest peak compared to before. With this movement probably by the end of January bitcoin will reach Two Thousand Dollars each and by the end of the year a 10k dollar price will shock  the market by the end of the year.

10k by the year end is a wishful thinking I would say.Yes but bitcoin will be in $2k to $3k range anytime during this year and most probably by the years end.
But in crypto you never know. Just one good positive news can trigger buying and Sudden price rise.
Opposite happens if there is some negative sentiments.

Price at $1400 is reasonable and it seems easy to achieve, this year the price was up to $1300 bitcoin for 2 times but always drop again and january ever reached under $800. But I'm sure prices will slowly rise and will not drop again.
