Moderators don't often delete threads on request. You can lock them, and move your own threads to the archival section if you want them out of the way so to speak. If they are spam or something, you can report them and a moderator will handle it.

I think mod won't contact you, but you can talk about this matter at Meta childboard.
Usually moderators come there and give proper reply if you give details about your problem.

P.S. you can move this thread to meta childboard by selection option in the left bottom of this thread
