Interesting for sure. That said, pretty much any coin at the beginning of 2017 would has seen a crazy rise. So it would be interesting to see your predictions for 2018, now that the market is more established and saturated.

Come on Mirrax, do your research thing and give us advice what to buy for 2018. Maybe you should put a donation address so people can donate some for your wisdom. I can donate 20 lisk if you want to, lisk is 5 usd but the price will rise ten fold in 2018.

Some picks are still valid

FTC - great entry price, pure waiting game now
NXS - good to rebuy now, nice correction from 90k to sub 40k
UIS - good to buy

TZC - looks as killer staking machine now, buy few millions and stake for years

How does the TZC staking works?

FTC - great entry price, pure waiting game now

UIS - good to buy

TZC - looks as killer staking machine now, buy few millions and stake for years

How does the TZC staking works?
TZC has PoW and PoS with PoW beeing 67% and PoS beeing 33%.
In other pos coins you get an % annual interest per year. So the reward varies when you get an block. Most of the time in those coins, you open the wallet once or every two months wait for the block and thats it.

With TZC and its 0% ann if you get a block you get the full block reward of 100 coins. So with running it 24/7 you have more chances to get a block and as more people are running the wallet this also hugely supports the network itself.
Of course the amount of blocks you get per day/week depends on the amount of coins one has, the pos difficulty and  a little luck.
It works also this way that not only holders with million coins get only the reward. Depending on difficulty and how many blocks per day or week you wan't, you'd need a minimum of coins.

Basically:
You have to let the wallet run open for staking.
Every input/transfert starts staking and gets weight after 1 day with the max beeing 16 days. After that inputs don't get more weight.
If an input is rewarded it's age is resetted to 0 and starts anew.
The wallet also splits and combines the coins automatically (values can be defined in a range in the config) after each block reward.
What seperates an holder with million coins and one with less is the amount of blocks per day. Even those million holder can be unlucky and get less and one with less coins get a little more than expected.

So it's like solo gpu mining just with your coin age beeing the hashrate.
You don't need a massive pc for it, like a raspberry pi is enough or an intel nuc if you already got it.

Hope I wrote it clearly.
There is more indepth info in how exactly it's working in slack and the forum.

Of course I'm also in it.
Nice growing and helpful community, love the system and has a bright future coming.

Thought the sixth coin was supposed to appear on his twitter feed.
Also, a suggestion:
365 days in crypto currency is like eternity. There's a lot of tumbling and rumbling - just look at STEEM and BAY. So, I'm suggesting you make it biannual, instead?

My friends: "Gonna put my money in a fund or stock, earn 10% this year, double my money in 7 years, retire in 30.  Yep."
Me: "Hold my drink.  Gonna put my money in crypto, looking for a 10x return on this NXS."

Btw, what are thoughts on FTC at the moment?  Halving in about half a month but the price seems to bounce between 2500-3500.  I entered at 3600 on a bit more of it, thinking it could see 6 by the halving, but unsure others are buying in.

I got to admit that your guide is way far better than those pump groups. This is the first time I've seen a good prediction. I hope you will not stop giving your insights on potential coins.

Indeed, pump groups are f&%#@^ suicide, learned that one the hard way.   Cry Cry Cry Cry

So we had decent altcoin bloodbath recently. To those who survived it opens unique opportunities.
These coins listed below are now all good for all options:
1, new entry
2, buying more
3, buying back

FTC 600-700sat
UIS 150 sat
TZC 150 sat
NXS 19k sat
XZC 180k sat

Those bargain prices won't last forever  Wink
Buy when there is blood on streets instead of buying tops  Cool
Is this a standard option to buy due to bloodbath or any positive news incoming in nearest future?
