I have a few visiontek 6950's that I use for LTC mining.  I got em for 170 each on tigerdirect and they mine at 450kh/s

Mind sharing what settings you use to get 450? I have the same ones but I can't get more than 390 without occasional halts.

Ya...I figure the ASICS will pretty much kill the mining world for GPUs once they sweep across the network. Thinking that's still a couple of months off though. In the meantime, I say we all grab as much as possible.

yes, people kept telling me I should quit mining in october now I've made a nice profit and paid for the videocards !

I'll try to get an Asic for next winter if they become more easily available to heat the condo again !

You can still mine with it yeah (5870) But what I don't like with 58xx series is that they are really noisy and drain power like hell !I like how I mine 550 mhash with my 7950 and I still can't hear it
