I see they adjusted their "last" price to 127 somehow even though trading still isn't open yet. Meanwhile all the other exchanges are tanking to new lows. Wtf is going on here, really?

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

The employees are selling off their own coins before opening up trade.

2:00AM UTC is 10:00 EST.  Currently 9 est. At least according to one of my timezone converters. The other puts it at 2 UTC a 9EST, which is confusing, haha

This is the software we are all about to rely on with out money ladies and gents.  No trading yet price movement!

argh, that fucking place is probably a bunch of 386s strung together with RJ-45 adapters, and now their sweating cause the next LTS of Linux just dropped support for the 386.

It's probably what HappyBitCoinUser said. They opened it up to a few of their select friends to accept current bids at 127 that the users never cancelled.

U'd think they'd have the common sense to cut the price feed or hard code the price debase...

OK OK, they are probably just running tests...no they're not!

I would not be surprised if they were the ones who manipulated the market all along. Whatever happened, we know more exchanges are in development now, so soon the world will be better off without them.
