I think Many will survive ... lite coin, doge, BCC, BCH and more. Market prices will not be ascertained. Can occur in kriptocurrency.  Smiley

I have a feeling some cryptos might just be used for transferring funds simple because the transfer fees are cheaper, a lot of people now and just converting to alts and then transferring their funds to other exchanges. Sooner than later transfer times are going to become smaller I hope and fees will become smaller but as for now, when transferring I always convert to an alt first. Saves a ton of money. That's why you will still see a lot of alts survive due to this back and forth movement.

really! i know many of them like ripple-dipple etc but they will die in near future because most of them look like (and working too) like others. maybe one strongest coins will survive, but for now future in BTC and ETH

i think coin which has great potential will survive in the future is Ethereum and Litecoin, why I chose two coins only because both the coin Ethereum and Litecoin have a good future and stabilizing price.

I think Ethereum has the largest chance of surviving in the future (smart contracts)
Zcash for privacy
Decred for governance
BTC for store of value.

It'll be interesting to see further categories beyond the above emerge.

I agree with you, but why Decred? I dont see anyone talking about this coin, can you explain to me why do you think that coin will survive in the time? I dont see any big feature in this coin that others doesnt have.
But yes, maybe i would add Waves to your list, that project is gonna be huge, it just need more time to develop more features and products that are gonna make it brilliant.
At the moment, waves dev are working fine, and i think that buying those coins are gonna give us a lot of profit.

Ethereum is after bitcoin and with it's smart contracts, it has the most potential of survive. Personally I don't like zcash and for privacy, as far as I knoe Monero is the best. Decred - ? Haven't heared about that coin. And oh, BTC isn't altcoin so there was no need of posting about it.
I would add Litecoin also..

Litecoin and Ethereum are stable. You are not risking a lot by investing into these two. Neo coin is on breakout now. Chinese crypto - Chinese community is huge so adaptation could be huge -we will see what Chinese regulators will do. Those 3 are my picks. Already profiting on ETH and LTC last days Smiley

I feel REAL will survive as your investment goes in to real estate. So there is something physical backing your investment.

The ones with decent volume on any exchange.

If you look for them you will find extremely basic coins with zero services that are still being traded with in excess of 50+ Bitcoins a day.

in my opinion etherum (ETH) is the best,yet...ripple (XRP) because has the 'touch' of banks, litecoin (LTC) is safe and for everybody, monero (XMR) because is clasic...and the rest of alts with a serious market cap  Wink

The X8currency that is about to be launched will appeal to risk-averse investors and will have a lot of potential as the most stable asset there is. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2114287.msg21143521#msg21143521

You can never tell. Obviously litecoin, doge and a few others aren't going anywhere. But as far as ones that are coming out right now there are so many factors that determine their success that you have no idea what's going to last what's not. There's a coin out there that came out, had a huge first couple of weeks and then died completely and it has actually had the community come back three or four times in the past year trying to revive that point.

There's nothing actually special about it anyway but the fact is that sometimes people just get their teeth in something and refuse to let it die. At the same time coins out there that seem like they had a fantastic idea just died within a few days and were never seen again. Only good altcoins can survive this fast growing market.

When it comes to investing, I like the risk, so I will invest in the money that will break through in a short time. Facing danger and making the right decisions will make you mature and talented.

Most of all the alts that are above top 50 in coinmarketcap are going to not exist by 2020. Look at the history, some of the best performing alt coins of 2013 are nowhere to be seen now. My choices are NAV, VIA, GAME, MGO, XEL, BAT, CFI, CVC

Risk taker do normally get bounties and would really be paid off if a certain coin would really be successful. If you do have money then dont afraid to risk as long those money you do have is the amount that you can afford to lose and talking about possible altcoin that might survive in the future then there are lots of candidates and one of them is ETH.

DeepOnion will last. It is integrated over tor.
That way no sort of centralized power can alter with it.
and the transactions are secure and about as anon as you would want it to be.

DeepOnion is a good altcoin with Tor integration. It helps give an additional layer of privacy, when doing transactions making it ideal for everyday payments.

However, the competition for DeepOnion would be fierce as there are a wide array of anon coins in the market that have other anonymity features, and some even use Tor as well (like Verge does). It would need to keep up with development and innovation to help it stand among many anonymous cryptocurrencies.

Tor is one step towards privacy, but DeepOnion might need to integrate stealth addresses, or ZK-SNARKS as an additional privacy feature to make it better than ever.

But, despite everything, it seems that it will be an altcoin that will survive for many years to come.  Wink

The alts I know will survive

Ethereum (I wouldnt even consider this an alt)
Nexus Earth
IOTA
Steem
Unobtanium (Rare Crypto) (for collectors- Low circulation 197,806 coins)
Neo
OmiseGo
ADT
FCT
SNM
GNT
SNT

These crypto's have some solid portfolio's I have more but these will do for more. that's all I do all day Study crypto charts. It's my job. If anyone wants a specific crypto to be researched just message away.

Thanks

This list has many of the most prominent altcoins in the market. While their existence in the long term might not be guaranteed, they could serve as an ideal investment to help your money grow as they gain traction over time.

Ethereum is the most solid altcoin in existence, being the second most largest cryptocurrency in market cap, leaving it next to Bitcoin. If it continues to grow in user adoption and value, it might become closer towards taking the pioneer cryptocurrency's place on the market. Of course, the odds for this to happen are very minimal but if this becomes a reality, then it will become a major change for the whole cryptocurrency market.

What's best is that ETH will be transitioning into PoS soon, making it an ideal investment while its still PoW, as once it changes its consensus algorithm, it may further rise in price.

By the way, Unobtanium looks interesting as it is a cryptocurrency with a very limited supply. If it manages to remain actively traded on the markets within the course of years, then it would become an ideal investment for the long term, making your capital grow the more its value rises. Just my thoughts Grin
