Which country is the most dangerous with regards to animals

Quote
With a hidden camera they filmed animals undergoing mistreatment.
They remove the skin of all still living and claim that it is to allow a clean cut. After throwing the carcasses into piles, still alive and for about 10 minutes the heart beats and eyes blink and the paws of the dogs shake. There is still one who raised his head and fixed his bloodied eyes straight for camera.

http://features.peta.org/ChineseFurFarms/

In my opinion they are the Asian countries, but as you requested one, I will say that it is China.

I have a dog that I love very much and I can't believe when I see the Chinese doing cruelties with the dogs

I am admittedly not well-research as to animal welfare in different countries around the world but I have heard and read a lot about Chinese cruelty to animals. Not as a matter of animal "sports" or gambling such as horse fighting, dog fighting, cockfighting, and others. In China, almost every kind of animal is killed for human purposes, either for plain human consumption or according to pseudo-medical beliefs of having an element to cure whatever diseases or illness or as aphrodisiac, and others. Live dogs are tied in the market for sale as food. Even pangolins, turtles, birds, and other weird and endangered animal species are all for human consumption as food.

Considering how big the Chinese population, they will eat anything they see fit like dogs and other animals. Also, their culture of eating dogs is not new as well. They even have a dog festival, which is the practice of dog eating. But the problem lies here is that they are eating dogs the whole year round, not just during this festival. Sadly, the cruelty is an inherent part of the dog meat trade: there's a traditional belief that the meat tastes better if the animal suffers as it dies, with adrenaline coursing through the body. So its inherent in their tradition that animal cruelty is accepted.

Nothing to argue about it.  As in literally they eat everything.  Everything that has life.  Some of the animals were kiled and smuggled for medicinal purposes according to them.  They are heartless with animals because all they want is to eat.  I do not know why they are like that.  But they have all these strong stomach to eat anything here on earth.

I can see a lot of hatred directed at the Chinese in this thread. I admit that the Chinese are not angels. Some of their culinary practices needs to be either banned or modified. But what about the others? For example, shark fin soup is available in most of the American states. Do you know how painful is the practice of cutting off the fins from the sharks? And the less we talk about Foie gras, that better.

Shark fin soup is illegal in many states in the USA. Most places you see that list it list "imitation shark fin soup", though how or if they verify this I have no idea.

This is terrible, Trump just came to my mind saying: China!
And well, i guess Asia is popular for eating animals. Don't know if they kill them with cruel methods, but it's not for fun or sport.

Shark fin soup is legal in states such as Florida. There were attempts to ban it, but the restaurant lobby managed to sabotage those attempts. And as far as I know, till now less than 10 states have banned shark fin soup in the United States (includes Texas, California, New York, Washington, Oregon, and a bunch of smaller states).

And what about US? Where are the buffalos? Where are other species? Animal cruelty is happening in every country, look at the meat farms and how they threat animals. All world is in the mess, and probably we should start to think about moving on vegetarianism, only in that way we can save animal's from further exploitation.
I don't like how Chinese threat dogs also, it's closest animal to human, many see dogs as a best friends, I can't understand how they can eat dogs.

It is the treatment of the dogs which creates tension between the Oriental people and the others. But it will be wrong to ban the slaughter of dogs, just because a section of us regard dogs as very close to us. If we do that, then the Hindus will demand a ban on the slaughter of cattle, and the Muslims will ask for a ban on the consumption of pork. Food must be strictly based on personal choice.

Yup! Patrolling the favelas (especially in the major cities such as Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro) is a very tough job. And that may be the reason why the cops in Brazil are known to be very brutal and heavy-handed. Outside the beaches and the posh residential areas, Brazil is basically an under-developed crime ridden third world country.

You to this problem come from the point of view of law. Yes indeed, everyone is free in their country to do anything and from the point of view of law it is not possible to require them not to kill the dogs, but if effective and economic methods of coercion that it can have meaning. Just need to put these countries in such conditions when it would be cheaper to abandon killing of dogs. As for India, India is one of the leaders in the export and production of beef.

Each country is dangerous for animals: Spain for bulls, China for dogs and there are probably many more countries (that I don't know) that kill innocent animals on a daily basis. It's a dangerous world for everyone, not just animals.

Perhaps one of the most violent countries of animals is the korean state where they are very anti-cats, they strongly believe that cat disease and believe in the ancient myth, where the "wild animal is considered an outbreak of disease so do not be surprised if animals like cats do not get Decent place in the country

Wow.  I do not know about this.  Maybe that is why when you watch korean dramas you will not see any cats.  Sad that they do mot like cats.  Cats are so cute, I love cuddling them and be amazed with their cuteness and charm.  I do not agree that Korea is the dangerous country for animals maybe all countries are dangerous to all kinds of animal.  Humans kill animals for their consumption and some greedy needs

I have been to India many times. And I should say that the attitude towards beef varies from one state to the other. India is a very diverse country, which is home to hundreds of different ethnic groups. Some of these ethnic groups revere cow as a holy animal, while for others, it is just like any other animal. In Northern India, only buffalo meat is legal. Cow meat is strictly prohibited. However, in the other areas, cow meat is readily available.

If you are living in the major cities such as Sydney and Adelaide, I don't think that you should be much worried. But off course, the outback is another story. But it is not surprising. All the desert areas in the world are full of venomous species, such as snakes, scorpions and spiders.

It's interesting to see the hierarchy of animals to humans, in terms of which ones are totally okay to kill and which ones can't be killed.

Humans seem to have respect for mostly empathy, and then intelligence (with cultural exceptions).  Dogs, cats, whales, dolphins, elephants, primates seem to be at the top.  But pigs are very empathetic and no one gives a shit about killing pigs.  Octopus are very intelligent and can solve complex problems but again no one is protesting for the octopus.

Even people with dogs and cats as pets, that are animal lovers, feed their pets dead animals.

Let's expand that to the current state of corporate farming. If you saw the condition of the animals (specifically chickens and pigs, cows aren't much better) you wouldn't eat that shit. I live rurally, there are literally like 10 chicken producers in a 5 mile radius. When you drive by the trucks, you understand. The birds are like a giant wound on the bottom. No feathers, irrirated skin, and they don't move. They just kinda sit there and stare ahead. I don't think they can stand Sad

Thats effectivity right there.

Eventually people have to decide, if lowest price per pound is what they seek or if they have other priorities.

This goes for vegetables and fruit just aswell. Tens of thousands of animals every years are killed during farming of said "vegan" products.
