Best CPU's for mining XMR or zCash

I am wondering which CPU's are best for mining either of these coins. I am finding that I am running the CPU in my main computer to mine 30 cents a day as is simply because it's an economic room heater for the winter and I could try going for as much performance as I can push from a single rig while I am at it too.

I recall that some AMD CPU's did decant for XMR or zCash but at least with anything hardware related with zCash the miners have been constantly improving so it's like looking at old stats.

Also, since NY state is like North Korea, I am unable to buy Bitcoin directly. Mining is the only way I can get crypto so even if some people may not agree with utilizing the CPU, I have some interest here.
