Sell or wait?

Waiting for a higher price is good idea for some holders ,but if you feel that bitcoin price is in danger or  it starts to go down ,then basically you must sell it before it will go down deep.

If winklevoss ETF get approval, bitcoin may reach $2000 faster than what we've predicted. 2019 to reach $2k? I don't think so, it takes too long, I bet we will see it.by the end of the year or in early 2018.

yes waiting is good idea but i think tell the end of 2017 if you really want the price to reach to 2000 USD. because it is expecting that this time the price of bitcoin is not going to stop before reaching 2000 USD level. and if a person missed that opportunity then they will not get chance to buy bitcoin at present price. therefor waiting and holding bitcoin is a good idea.

you need to always check the value of the coin. as trading needs to always update yourself on what is happening to the coin. we cant say that we should sell now because the value is getting high. we should always educate ourself on the coin we have. so better yet educate yourself when will be the dump and pump of the coin.

Every time that the Central Bank of China, announces a meeting with the exchanges bitcoin prices go down, but this time bitcoin prices recovered very fast (only few hours).

I am not so convinced about this alleged influence of the Chinese people in the market behavior of bitcoin. I think the bitcoin economy has lots of variables to be taken into account at the time of foreseeing any potential trend in the bitcoin behavior, but it seems most bitcoiners prefer to make things easier and read the fundamentals of bitcoin exclusively in terms of China fundamentals.

In my opinion its better to wait to see what happens on march with the EFT, if it receive the approbation bitcoin could make a big increase on its price.

i don't this so. if the ETF can have any kind of effect on bitcoin, that would be a temporary one where it gets hyped up a lot and then price has a sudden rise kind of thing and in then end we are left with a small bubble and coming back from it.

Even if the effect is temporary, the ETF will have a positive impact.
You can try and sell your coins after the price increases, rather than selling it now.

The price will certainly reach that level, we are near to $1,200 now and I can see that happening very soon. Not a good time to see but it's time to wait and hold for better profit, the price will drop and that is normal as we see it most of the time but we also see that every time their is a dump, the next thing will happen is to pump.

Personally I don’t think it makes much sense to hold for so long just to sell your coins once, it is way better to wait for a bubble and then sell, finally when the price gets lower you buy again and you will be left with more bitcoins.

Whether that ETF will happen or not. For me it is going to be the best thing to wait. There are more upcoming great years for bitcoin and just sell it when you really need to do so but if you don't then just let it be and wait for the right time to sell it. I keep on believing that bitcoin will go beyond on its current price.

There is no need to wait for the ETF to happen, because the small variation is more than enough to trade and get the profit. Everyone hope for a better price more than the current price, but the same has the problem of fall in price. So make a prediction and grab the right profit at the right time.

As of now many of us are still waiting for higher price but when we saw that the price is falling suddenly. It is now indicating that many are selling and doesn't want to wait for some more. But with my decision I wanted to keep on waiting because I believe that the price is going to keep on increasing whether there are decreases.

As quoted the price is moving forward and has been stabilizing above $1050. It is gaining resistance compared to the past, so the price won't fall soon as the previous price fall. Selling seems good for the one who has been planning to make a profit by the next fall to buy more.

Expected by whom? I quite often see people say; it's expected that the price will reach to x amount, but they fail to say by whom exactly the price is expected to rise.

Quite some people can't afford to buy themselves a whole Bitcoin at current prices, even though in some cases they force themselves to do so. Bitcoin is a divisible currency, where you can simply stick to buying just 0.1-0.2BTC for example. It's pointless to force yourself to buy a whole coin when you can't really miss the funds in your personal life.

Actually the FUD about PBOC investigation have brought price down earlier this year and right now all panic traders have already shorted their bitcoin. Buy support looks very strong right now so i don't think we have to worry about getting another dump soon.

I think you are right. It's better to wait patiently. A few years ago bitcoin was at it's peak of 1300 dollar.
If you ask me we will see a price of 1300 again this year.

It's not only the chart that is necessary, but you have to determine what is the reason behind the chart movement. This is not a game, bitcoin cannot be predicted if you are basing on the trend, you should be more focus in educating yourself on the recent happenings in relation to bitcoin so you will have  clearer look on the real situation. With this, it will enable you to decide properly.
