Hi, I'm new (obviously) and I need some help setting up cgminer. I have my ewallet setup, part of a pool, just cant get cgminer to recognize my device. I get the following error:

I have windows XP SP3. Installed the latest ATI AMD drivers and SDK. CGminer does connect but it doesn't see my graphics card.  Help?

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

What GPU do you have?
Did you change its BIOS?
Does Windows/Catalyst recognize it properly?

XP not work with latest drivers. I have been start mine with catalist driver 11.11 + app sdk 2.5. But if you have 7xxx gpu's, you must install win 7(Cool or linux.

I have an ATI 4870
WinXP SP3

Installed the latest drivers/catalyst (13.1) and AMD ATI SDK.  I tried pulling out the card and reintalling it. Still the same issue.

Try to delete catalyst and install http://www2.ati.com/drivers/hotfix/catalyst_11.11_hotfixes/amd_catalyst_11.11a_windows_xp.exe , http://developer.amd.com/wordpress/media/files/AMD-APP-SDK-v2.5-Windows-321.exe , if still not work then install it http://btcsec.com/programms/opencl/11-11_xp32_ocl.exe . And last string on your snapshot shows that cgminer can not connect to pool. Did you create workers on btcguild?
