The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Crap. I had 3.5 BTC there. Guess I shouldn't be expecting to see those again.

To me it look like he's a one-man shop? Amazing. The site was pretty solid though, although building an exchange is not exactly trivial.

Little more upgrade as when we can expect to get to our BTC and EUR would be nice.

i transfered 5 BTC to bitcoin-24 yesterday but withdrawed right away, bcs it's registered as a ltd. which means, the founders can disapear easily and since they charge no fees, the only way to make some real money, is to go by by with the funds...

even if they are actually honest ppl and had only the best intentions in the first place, what would you do, if you suddenly have to choose between either legal charges and personal bancruptcy or being a multi millionaire and buy ur own island?

i hope im just wrong and all of you guys get ur money/BTCs back but honestly, i would never trust a free exchange!

edit: typos

I think we really need to get rid of these centralized exchanges that have us by our balls.

I wouldn't mind centralized markets if they were serious/reliable.

Never keep all your funds on one exchange. Anyway only keep funds on an exchange when you need it for trade, withdraw what you don't need to trade at the moment. No exchange is risk-free, and by minimizing the time funds sit on an exchange, you minimize your risk.
