I agree with Veider for some part and with Micogurtiza for other part. You people are both right. New technology can do all the things you say. It can make you worst person in social skill or maybe for some people with problems even help to improve social skill. New technology is blessing to someones and curse to others....

Better for whom? Children do not think so. I like calmer when my daughter sits at home. In our quiet time is safer. Walking down the street and socializing with peers is always in school.

Thats very true as there is no real connection again and we get to all live fake lives you stay in Africa and have a best friend in Europe that you have not met before whereas you dont speak to the neighbour next door the moment you are with the gadgets and its connected to the internet, then to hell with anybody around. Thats what technology has turned us into to lose the sense of FAMILY is our relationship within the society. Its really a disadvantage.
