I guess the main reason why people don't get bitcoin or doesn't have to get it is because they are scared about it. There are a lot of humors that are coming out especially with medias and government warnings that don't ever try to get into it. They are making the people believe that this is a real medium for illegal thing which is fact but they are not seeing the lighter side of it.

I agree with you, this might one factor and also they do not see the physical money of bitcoin unlike the dollar or fiat currency.
We do not know how people was brained wash by the government.

This can be a major reason. Also as mentioned physical appearance is a must to reach the hands of people. Right now we have just the wallets to get physical form and as it's decentralized one cannot make a coin. Lack of understanding the reality keeps the people stay away from digital currency use, which will change in the future.

But that's the general consensus of the populations though. Unless information is easy to obtain and hand fed they won't accept it. Data on btc is definitely more widespread rn than when I first joined, but it's still not enough

I think why the did not get bitcoin because they don't know how to use and they most use the bank account or credit card because thehy think that they money are safe because it have security than  bitcoin.

That's the first thing, they don't know how to use bitcoin and they don't really know what bitcoin is. And they don't even intend to use it because they are already satisfied upon using the banks services that's why those people that aren't into bitcoin are losing a lot of opportunity with bitcoin because they are missing big potential profit.

I don't think that is related on why is Bitcoin not being use by the people. I don't think that Banks are the main issue here when it comes to understanding Bitcoin. Right now even if Bitcoin existed for many years the majority of the population does not know or ever heard the word Bitcoin or anything about the cryptocurreny, give it time to grow many people will surely adopt Bitcoin.

I'm pointing out about the banking service like deposit and withdrawal or by just simply saving your bitcoins there. Bitcoin is still young so I don't think that is enough for all the people to know what bitcoin is. That is why the total years of bitcoin's existence is still not enough for those people who doesn't have any idea about it.

I'm still less informed on this matter; for me i only know of three ways to earn bitcoin. 1 is with the bitcointalk signature campaign; 2 is with some gambling site that provides a free coin to be able to roll. 3 is selling or trading items on Paxful; i'm really unsure how you guys get it so smoothly. If theres a better option please advise.

It will be a thousand times better if you use google rather than asking here. If you ask here, you'd wait for hours to get results and most of the time, you'll get either nothing helpful or no reply at all. Google gives you instant answers to your question.

Ask yourself, how do you earn fiat? You earn it by working for it. It's the same thing with bitcoins. You work for it. One huge difference is that it will be mostly digital work if you want to get paid in bitcoins. You can be a programmer, a designer, a photographer, etc. Submit your work online or find a guy who's hiring and you'll get paid in bitcoins.

Getting bitcoin is definitely not for earning only because if all of us are earing there will not people that will be spending which would not be realistic IMO. In general people will not get bitcoin because they feel it's not simple to learn, without a reputable person that will explain to them, they will not believe on it and if they will not believe they will not use it.

Our chance is to see the recognition of the government, the ETF application which was recently disapprove is suppose to be a good thing to increase awareness of the people if it was approved, but unfortunately seems like it's not the right time yet.

Agree with you, I also used to earn my Bitcoin only from faucets. But you know what? In the day of my first payment I was very happy back then, even tho I only got around 5 cents or even lower than that. This is the thing that made me always eager to earn and learn Bitcoin, and unwittingly my earning was keep increasing over time.

Because it is actually hard to learn. People expect that things are just really really easy about bitcoins. They think it's a currency on the Internet, so what? When they try to actually understand the whole thing and they start seeing technical words like nodes, and blocks. They start backing off as if they've made the biggest mistake of their life.

I don't think ETF will directly do that. ETF is there for investors that are too afraid to invest and don't understand the whole process of bitcoins. Basically people that are too lazy to read and learn the whole bitcoin thing before they invest. SMH.

I also found it difficult to get some bitcoins, I enjoy when i get some satoshis  from faucet sites. So one day i realized that faucet it's waste of time. so I join this forum and slowly i build my knowledge about cryptocurrency and different good domains here.

Exactly, lack of awareness is the reason why people doesn't know and don't want to get bitcoin. They don't know that this is a very reliable investment and they can get good profit upon investing here. Also another thing they don't know that this is good for buying goods and services online and use it for paying those things as currency.

yes most of the people do not have good knowledge about bitcoin and therefore they are not giving preference to bitcoin.

Lack of knowledge maybe one factor but for me is the high price of bitcoin which dont let new people jump in so easily. If you are not sure of the stability of a currency, you will never spent a 1000$ or more to get a single bitcoin.
Only those people invest who are already in bitcoin and knows the up and downs of its and know how to get profit from this.

The high price of bitcoin is another reason why there are people that doesn't want to use and try bitcoin. You are right with it the partner of lack of knowledge is they are seeing it very high and they don't know what will be the result of investment. Well if I'm a newbie, I'll don't get myself with $1k+ and just invest it immediately.

Anyway on your question (statement) why people don't get Bitcoin... I just talked to my stepdad about this again. He is still a skeptic and his argument for more money going towards BTC is "people don't know where else to spend it". Haha, right...
Just goes to show that I either suck at explaining its revolutionary aspect (yeah maybe but I doubt I am THIS bad) but also it is a complex and totally NEW tech, that takes time to comprehend and if a person is lacking the willingness to put some effort in understanding, all time trying to explain or convince someone is wasted.
Same goes if you wanted to explain why email is so great 25 or 30 years ago to someone. They'll look at you and say, "well I got a telephone, so this is faster and more direct and if it needs to be written down we have a well functioning post office system."

Yes it easy to get bitcoin but not in faucet sites because they just pay a very small amount of bitcoin that can't even support you to make a living. I agree that most of the people don't even give a try in bitcoin and they just give up because they think that bitcoin is very hard to understand and they need to be good in computer or something just to understand bitcoin but they are wrong and they think in a wrong way because in the other hand bitcoin is very easy to understand and just like the normal money that we have everyday.

I think you are talking about earnings bitcoin not a getting bitcoin.. Faucet is honestly waste of time but it is good for starter or beginners until you can see a good place where you can get more bitcoins for free.. or good investment like in trading but you need to learn first how to trade..
