Take a look at this... http://icorating.com It is currently in BETA but quite an interesting project.

Their rating is scheme is straight forward. Take a look at a few of their reports for Past or Current ICOs.

Suppose if there are a number of ICOs started for different coins by anonymous developers then how can we find that which one the legit ICO and which one is scam ICO?
Still we can't tell with surity that which altcoin ICO is legit and scam because reason is not only its price increase after some time but its publicity always matter a whole .
In my experience , that ICO ,is much better than other ,which have listed his coin in the top 10-15 altcoin list at trading site .
It is because the alcoin which can see by the trader will be comes in activity deal of buy/sell .
And secondly if any ICO which is advertising his altcoin through signature campaign by paying bitcoin( not his altcoin ) then that we go for profit and can be listed into better altcoin ICO .

Some of the people have provided some good points but some have provided that ask them for showing their faces while at here I am collecting points about anonymous ICOs to find about them. I want to make this thread as rich of knowledge about anonymous ICOs to find legit among them.

Investing in ICO is rather risky investment but it can be profitable. It's really worth to try than to try other risky investment out there.
We should look at what will be the final phase of the project. There are factors we can check to minimize our worries.
Also people who creates ICO. If they are known in crypto world, it can give some proof that it ll not be a scam.
But the main thing is final step of project and the main idea. And if it is possible to get back money and leave ICO or if you can do smth with tokens of it (if it's in tokens). It gives some proof and trust to people.

Wow...
Spoetnik.. you actually never fail to amaze me. I have been reading bitcointalk for years, and all I have read of late is you trash talking and getting people down. Posting in ICO threads poking fun of people. I register and make my first post just to share a source of information I have found.. and here you are within a matter of hours just to ridicule me.

I didn't provide any trade advice, I actually answered the OPs question of where to find some information on whether an ICO is credible or not. Which is considerably more than you have contributed to this thread, or to the entire forum over the past few weeks in fact.

I hope your trolling feeds whatever ego problems you have buddy. You just picked on a user with one post to his name, trying to help someone else out. Congratulations.

Your wasting your time.
You are getting the same old crap.
This same exact topic gets posted every few days by noobs who don't know how to use a forum search button.
They all will end up getting the same replies.

Trust me i know i have seen the same handful of cliche'd topics repeated endlessly here over the years.
It's odd too because any other forum on the web would delete them all..
This place is fucked right up though.. bump an old topic and they will bitch at you and deleted your reply.
Re-post the same tired old crap questions endlessly and you're in their good books.
See the underlying point ? Forum database waste ?
Seems kind of fucking retarded to me.  Roll Eyes

You said..
"I want to make this thread as rich of knowledge about anonymous ICOs to find legit among them"

So do you think the self-entitled little brats asking for personal 1 on 1 assistance will use the search button and find this topic ?
LOL of course not  Cheesy
..they will simply re-ask the same tired old question.

How to find Legit ones ?
That is retarded.. there isn't any.

You showed up here OP to make money obviously...
So a legit one is one that makes you money and a scammy one is one you lose money on.
So start a new topic asking how do i get rich at Bitcointalk "investing" in ICO PONZI scheme's

So ?
Good luck i hope you get mad ROI'z yo !
Hope them ICO shitcoin investments make you sick rich bro !
Welcome to crypto and glad your here.. know any other "traders" that want to flog shitcoins for BTC ?

99% ICOs are not legit or simply not worth investing. You want to speculate, it is fine. Some good coins are not really doing ICOs. Many ICOs are for pump and dump.

Its very difficult to find but, you can minimize risk by checking some aspects. First read their ANN thread thoroughly so that you can get a clear idea. Know who are its founders. Most importnt, check whether all of its coins are premined or yet most coins to be mined after ICO. If all of its coins are premined, then you should be more cautious.

If you don't have any inside information ICOs are just gambling. And if you have inside information you are most likely part of the scam.

@OP
Are you asking which are LEGIT or are you asking which will make you profits ?
Because the two do not necessarily go hand & hand.. *IF* we were talking about "Mined" coins.

ICO's are scammy & crooked by design and should not be supported at all ever.
If you do then you are supporting Crypto-PONZI Schemes for Profit making scammers rich.
And taking a nasty rotten fat shit all over any and all *REAL* "Legit" coins.

If you are not helping the situation by condemning them you ARE the problem.

Many coins have different platform it is not possible to find which one legit because every thing seems to be more legit, some people will have an intention to make this coin more profitable to it's customers. But through signature campaign we can able to find them whether it is good one are not because dev's will be very active through this.

Choose the ico was using the trusted escrow, and so anytime, the ico will be turning into the scam ico and the escrow will return your money.
Simple.
It like an insurance or guarantee for testing about the ICO, is the legit ico or not.

Buy ICO coins.. if you profit then it's legit otherwise it's a scam.
It has nothing to do with how they work so don't pay any attention to that FUD.
This is really the indications and you could really answer that question by yourself. This is true that if you gain profit into an ICO then its legit if not then scam.No one could really know the situation if an ICO would go scam or succesful thats why its a wise thing to do is research about a particular ICO if you saw that devs are not hiding themselves and money is own escrowed then theres a possibility but theres no guarantee.

If you read the main post of me (the first/starting post of this thread) then you will find that what I am asking for. I only want to discuss about anonymous projects. Every person have their own point of view about these projects that how are they, I want to hear from them.

In the above post you said that there are a number of threads already about this topic. I request please read carefully my starting post and then provide one with rich comments. (with rich comments I mean that thread in which everyone have given their point of view about anonymous projects.

Thanks

How hard is it to fool people here ?
Does Bitcointalk have a rule forbidding posting scams ?
Escrow ?
I can build one up so i can use it for a big theft later can't i ?
Ident ? ......

All this can be defrauded easily  Roll Eyes

It is in fact NOT POSSIBLE to "use due diligence" when the game is rigged.

In my experience, almost ICO are trying to prove them this coin more profitable to it's customers seems to be more legit, there could be a good investment so most of time It's very hard to find out a legit ICO,It can be possible if you follow some good direction.Always read ANN thread of any ICO,Check out more information, reliable record etc..

Just do your due diligence and determine for yourself if the ICO and company doing the offering are legitimate. Look around at their websites, research the history of the company and the people involved at the company.
