my issues as follows:

all five miners vanish  but the 10gh  still credits  so I do not mind this.

the next issue is madding.

this address works fine:

16yLHLoeyuCLPMXkVpC3gyrRYvwRGwjKJr  is has earned over .4 btc

this address worked 1 time

1JdC6Xg3ajT3rge3FgPNSYYFpmf53Vbtje

it earned around 0.00000134 btc

it won't work.

and so far this address won't work

1PQcjXGVQ8ytrt1hBdWZ8yfzk9Cfobwj3i

at the moment I have 1 1080 ti pointed here  using this address:

1PQcjXGVQ8ytrt1hBdWZ8yfzk9Cfobwj3i

earning nothing altough on my side it shows 895-905 hash

if I switch it to 16yLHLoeyuCLPMXkVpC3gyrRYvwRGwjKJr  it works fine.

so why can't I get  these 2  addresses to work

1JdC6Xg3ajT3rge3FgPNSYYFpmf53Vbtje   it worked for a tiny little bit earned 0.00000134

and the new one 1PQcjXGVQ8ytrt1hBdWZ8yfzk9Cfobwj3i

The only one that works is the address I use for my partnership  with buysolar and the solar array coins.

So it makes for difficult accounting.

could you please check

http://zpool.ca/?address=1JdC6Xg3ajT3rge3FgPNSYYFpmf53Vbtje

 http://zpool.ca/?address=1PQcjXGVQ8ytrt1hBdWZ8yfzk9Cfobwj3i

and I finally got this one to work!

http://zpool.ca/?address=1JdC6Xg3ajT3rge3FgPNSYYFpmf53Vbtje

so I am all good!!

Phil, it must be the miner app your using.

http://zpool.ca/?address=1PQcjXGVQ8ytrt1hBdWZ8yfzk9Cfobwj3i

started mining just fine.   Ill leave it there for a little while.  If I fall asleep, bigger bonus for you I guess.... lol

*edit*

REM out the neoscrypt line, and remove it from the password string... may be your issue.

Ive had issues running neoscrypt with profit switching.  at one point it just either crashes the video driver, or reduces P-state to 5 or 8.. (real bad)

I've been mining a single algo for GPU a while now, and looking into the auto-switching.

What is a good miner, algo, and factor for:

Intel Core i7 4770K
Ryzen 1700
nVidia 1080 Ti
AMD 280x

For CPU, I've been using cpuminer-opt, and it responds well to the stratum connection closing when the algo changes.  Right now the only CPU algos I mine on are m7m, xevan, and yescrypt using the default factor.

For 1080 Ti, I'm on equihash with EWBF Cuda miner.

For AMD 280x, I'm on neoscrypt (forgot the miner - will have to check when I get back home).

Put something in my tip jar if I made your day. Smiley

FYI, been having stratum connection interruptions for the last 30-45 minutes.  Doesn't seem to be a particular algo, had some with Blake2s and currently on bitcore.

EDIT:  Looks like its cleared up.  Mining again full speed.

280x should be on etherium and/or expanse or probably most of the time on equihash, i7 should be on monero with claymore cpu miner but getting fast speed could be tricky, for nvidia and ryzen check zpool bench(mark) pages for miner versions and hashrate.

Hmm... Zpool doesn't support etherium, expanse, or monero unless I'm missing something...

Looks like equihash pool is having issues.  Can't connect to it.  Others are working though.

Mine is still mining and submitting shares, but haven't found a block for 3 hours.

Question:

I am getting ready to revisit my batch and add the new algos and whatnot.

Since there's the issue with connected miner info ghosting but hashrate still shows;  I am thinking of adding a timer and app kill/restart after so much time has passed.

Probably gonna reset itself every algo switch for auto-switching setups (or maybe it's entirely unnecessary to enable on this mode).... but, I think it's a nice mid-term solution to a very strange bug to track down.

Thoughts?

Any features requested at this time?  (I plan to devote some hours if I get a fancy idea, or you get one)

I am also going to be combining all of my batch files into one....

I.E.
C:/zpool.ca/startminer.bat -ProfitSwitch
or
C:/zpool.ca/startminer.bat -ManualMode -AutoRestart 30
or
C:/zpool.ca/startminer.bat -BasicMode

I will also be making it much easier to input manual intensity settings on each algo (configurable up top with the rest of the user configurable options).

So any input will input further in making it better for everyone.

Sorry if it's been asked already... but haven't found any post about it in the last 10 pages Tongue so...

Why no Ethash switching? With so many different coins now (ETH, ETC, UBQ, MUSIC, EXP...) it would definitely make sense? Nicehash got one but profitability is lower than all of the above so doesn't make much sense...

Unfortunately the stratum code used doesn't support these algos :\

All my miners were not earning for about 4 hours - there's no way all my miners at 3 different locations go down at the same exact time for the same amount of time - is there any explanation for this?

I think the graph is not working again. Earnings are still showing up for me. This happened a couple weeks ago too.

I think a feature that would be really cool is notification if your miner stops working.
You can pull some data from the API and check that your accepted shares are still rising.

Downtime really hurts if you don't catch it quickly

Settle down, the pool is working fine.  Its just the graph reporting thats having issues.  Its happened before and will get corrected.  Just wait for Crackfoo to get to it.

Making idle threats is pointless, especially if you don't have more than a handful of GPUs.

Which algo?  Equihash may still have issues as it hasn't shown an updated block in 3 hours, but has been accepting shares.  So it may simply be the Web GUI not updating.  Other algos are reporting fine though, running hmq1725 now with multiple coins finding blocks.

Balance and Total unpaid continue to increase as well.

Should be ok now, it was just the graphing scripts hung for a while. We did some ZEN changes but should have been unrelated to graphing but, I backed out all changes today and seems graphing is returned.

It was the autoswitchminer Smiley the coin it was mining was Verge aka x17 Smiley

EDIT: We're indeed back switching coins/algos again!
