Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

ok i am trying to set my strattum dif with nemosminer and tried several things   i still want to make it profit switch.   i tried several things but i am not getting the algos to stay on a strattum dif where i want them. is there a command i can use to set all the difs for each algo so it profit switches and uses my d=      setting for each algo?

Something wrong with equihash stratum?  No statistics on web page, but miners mining away as if nothing is wrong.

Xevan is starting to exhibit the same symptoms.

Edit: now the web page is saying "internal server error" on the browser title bar and shows a blank page.
Edit2: web page is back.  Now so is equihash.  Xevan still says 0 miners are mining....

Put something in my tip jar if I made your day. Smiley

nothing wrong with the stratum    the web page does that around payout time and is no big issue the miners keep mining away.

Not sure whats happening but there does seem to be more stability issues than usual lately.

As of 9:50 PST, the equihash pool seems to not be accepting hashes again.  Restarted miners and such, to no effect.  I've removed it from my list for now.  I will probably need to add some code for this type of event and better handling on my end to switch off an algo that's not responding or hashing at the proper rate.

This pool could really be great, but I keep getting issues - my hashrates locally for lyra2v2 are around 350 MH/s but the interface and credit output tell me im getting only 100 MH total. Same for blake2s, should have around 75GH/s, but now I am only getting 40 GH/s. Sometimes, one of my rigs running blake2s will show only 50 MH/s despite running 15GH/s in the interface. Where is all of this credit going??

Also, a couple times a day it seems the pool is getting DDOSed or something with all of my machines not being able to connect and the website being down. My profitability has dropped off significantly in the past couple of days because of this.

Is this an issue on my end? It seems like some other people are having similar problems in this thread.
Gonna move some rigs over to a ZCL pool for now until the others seem to work well.

Thanks for all your work on this zpool! I know you'll get the issues fixed.

uhh hush is there and zcash will get enabled when there is more hashrate. Pointless to waste hash on it when it can take 36+hours to find a block, with good luck.

Hush is not enabled. Currently only 2 coins in the pool.

Now Hush is there..

Does the pool take into account DOM (depth of market) when it is figuring which coin to mine? Some of the smaller coins might have a much higher top bid for a buy, but they then fall off quickly. So performing a market sell might produce much lower results than originally thought.

Wow, the total pool Hashrate for scrypt has jumped a lot the past week. I remember a month ago it was between 1GH-3GH. up to 17GH now.

yes, the profitability is attracting more and more miners across the board. Our site has seen a 15M hit a month increase this past month. Surpassing 45M hits a month now with nearly 60k unique visitors.

Anyone have a recommendation how often I should switch doing Multialgo with Multipoolminer?  Default is potentially every 60 seconds, but I'm thinking that might be too quick to really do much for each coin it mines.  I've been running it less than a day and it seems like it is going alright so far.  Just trying to get a feel what others are doing.

Running 7x1080 + 1x1080Ti in 3 different machines.

I only mine 2 algos at a time. I wanted to switch less than 10 times in a 24 hour period.

With BTC transaction fees getting a little ridiculous. What are the chances getting paid in ETH?

I dont think theres code int he pool to handle it automatically...   if we mined it (if it was possible) then that would be a different story...
