Hi,

You added DAS coin to your pool but the only exchange (Nova) doesn't work (wallet in maintenance). Miners have wallets issues and the developer isn't available. I analyzed and I think that pools used a correct DAS source. Many miners are not able to sell the coins (and I think that your pool with auto-exchange is not able to sell this coin nor send it to Nova).

I'd like to check among pools what source code they used for DAS as I think (and hope) that they used the same correct version. I read that some commits may have been deleted/reverted on some github. So please also keep all the source files used for your compilation (backup these).

Can you tell me which code of DAS you used on your pool ? The github used with the time of the git clone to know exactly the source used.

Details:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1988059.msg25110981#msg25110981

PS: I want to create a DAS masternode, I bought 1000 DAS on Nova at 35$ worth of BTC. It is now at 7$ worth but I still want to know how to do a masternode.

Thank you,

phm87

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Thanks for help.

Can you explain why do i need to write ,X11 after the c=BTC

Its good practice to tell stratum the algos you are mining;  because if you are mining multiple algos you'd add them all to that list, and give them a normalization value as well.

Its just good practice in the end, as the pools code expects to see something there, and you are better off not relying on a default or unsubmitted value that it will then assume.

there is no work for nvidia miners today?

My nvidia machines are online and mining.....  not sure what you are trying to imply.

When i mined skein algo my half of rig does not working and i make a half of my usual hashrate, maybe i should play with d= Huh now its 0.898 (8x1070)
same thing with kessak algo, ususal 5.4 GH now about half and uses half of cards, maybe i should use intensity?
neoscrypt and x17 works well

What i have to say to stratum that i want and can mine much more and faster? it wait 5 min before usual speed!

This is your miner ramping up... not the pool.

it takes time to average.  Everyting you read from the miner output is from your machine;  the only thing the pool reports to you is your next workunit, and a response for a share submission.  hashrate on the pool is based on share size/frequency.  The reading from your miner is from your miner's physical performance, not the calculated performance.

If you spam a bunch of low shares, you get low hashrate.  if you get regularly spaced or spam high diff shares, you get a high hashrate....  pools dont trust any hashrates reported by miners.   easy to fake the statistics.

but in some times, my rig starts at speed 90 mh\s for algo x17, another time it takes 5 min to reach that speed.
I think that stratum server can be configured and i am asking maybe there is some command line parametrs to lower that time such as intensity or difficulty?

manually set your difficulty might help a bit.

I still see:
BitcoinZ (equihash)   137.477449 BTCZ   1.100%   0.00000000

And also worried that those that are considered "Completed" are also worth 0 BTC.  Can't see them now since they are past the last 50 blocks found list.

I understand the exchange is down for this coin (as well as others), but if that's the case, how would those coins get exchanged and completed?

Put something in my tip jar if I made your day. Smiley

hrmm it shouldn't be mining these. grrr

There's not a way to pause the earnings for this until the exchange is sorted out. I'll manually take it off.

Please do yourself and us the favor and look up what AuxPOW is for coins, and how pools use it in switching code...  Not earning these coins is "wasting hash" compared to earning them with a hash result that would not work on a big coin.

Also read this whole thread;  there are excellent descriptions and analogies tht explain why its good to get these credits that you think are worthless.

but in some times, my rig starts at speed 90 mh\s for algo x17, another time it takes 5 min to reach that speed.
I think that stratum server can be configured and i am asking maybe there is some command line parametrs to lower that time such as intensity or difficulty?

The server can't be configured differently because of the way it calculates share % based on submitted shares.   It must delta up the hashrate (poolside) to be sure people arent whipping in with erroneous miner behavior to try and trick the calculations into giving you hashrate that wasn't submitted.
