We ordered two of his btcfpga.com quad miners last week, paid the extra upgrade for express shipping.

He sent us a tracking number which has been sat at electronic shipping info received since then (5 days later).

Despite several emails asking for an update he's ignored me.

Had a friend email a sales query which he responded to almost straight away, worse still quoting the same stock levels he originally quoted me.

The reason we considered using him was because he appeared to be refunding everyone who bought into the failed ASIC venture. Apparently we shouldn't have??

Lets see what happens but there's no reason for him not to reply to a kindly worded, simple request for an update. Unless something nefarious is in the offing!

I think even though I'm a new member it's pretty relevant to everyone, would a mod move this into the custom mining hardware area.

I can provide proof to any mod who would like it.

I've seen a couple of posts where people bought these has anyone else had any problems with slow delivery times after paying for the upgraded shipping.

Has anyone else ordered and not received anything yet?

What do you want to hear? You're throwing money at an alcoholic, that preferred the bottle so much he sunk his million dollar venture deep deep down in the sea.

I just wondered if others had similar problems I've seen a couple of threads where people got theirs and wondered if others hadn't.

I received mine, with 2 of the 4 miners broken in transit.  I've received one replacement, but he told me last weekend that he sent the 2nd replacement, and I still haven't received it.

My friend who is also on the forums, battmann, ordered one at the same time.  His made it to him without any issues.

Neither of us have been able to get them up and running, even with the help of forum members who have SSH'ed in to our machines to try to help.  Tom was supposed to help, but it has been 2 weeks since I received the miner and 2 weeks of constant headache in trying to get it to actually mine, and in trying to contact Tom.  Undecided

The computer sees the btcfpga hardware connected via USB, but can't actually communicate with the cards or use them to mine.

Haven't been able to get in touch with Tom since Wednesday - he was supposed to SSH back in again to try to get it running.

I don't think he's scamming people, but I am incredibly frustrated by this entire experience so far.

Well, it has been over a week since Tom said he sent my 2nd replacement card and I still haven't received it or had any luck getting the miner to actually mine.  Tom also hasn't responded since Wednesday.  Undecided  This is getting frustrating.
